We ranted this movie last night and I must say it was a very fun movie. It had moved along in time to keep Jones closer to his real age. We found some interesting parts of the movie that reminded us of things from other movies. Mud reminds one of Marlin Brando in the Wild one. The monkeys make one think of the Tarzan movies. The treasure room made us think of the one in the 1942 movie the jungle book. And the most funny one is the door to the inner room where the crystals skulls are. The minute we saw it we thought of the Yip Yip characters from Sesame Street. What did you notice that they seemed to use from other movies?

I haven't seen this one yet, but I really want to :-) Sounds like it's a pretty good flick to see. When I do finally get a chance to see it I'll have to try and notice those scenes. (Geez, now I'm gonna have to watch Sesame Street and find out what the heck Yip Yip's are lol)

Yeah, the second one definitely wasn't as good as the first one.

I have the other two Indiana Jones movies on VHS and will be replacing them with the DVD versions...I'm gonna like adding this one to it. Thanks for letting me know about it.

Is this the newest installment of the Indiana Jones? The one that was just released?
If so, I really couldn't say that it reminded of the old films but the film did have a feel of the old movies. Did they do this intentionally? I think they did a good job, it was fun to watch, very engaging !
