How many alarms do you need to wake up?

I used three different alarms to make sure I'm up and ready to go. #1 Alarm is meant to wake me up. #2 Alarm is meant to let me know I have 30 minutes to get out the house. #3 Alarm is meant to let me know I have 15 minutes to get out the house. All three alarms have different tones and rings as I use my cell phone's alarm feature for this purpose. How many alarms to you use? Do you just keep hitting snooze? In case I don't get any opportunity to personally respond to you, Thank you for participating.

You are uniquely organized. In my case, I used to have one very loud alarm way back during my school days in the dormitory. But now, my wife is my new alarm. She would just wake me up when everything is set up in the dining table. Thanks to my lovely wife, I feel so convenient.

Wow, you're married, judging from your photo you have posted with this discussion. I'd say, you were waaaaaaayyyyy to young to be married. And you know how to type and use the computer as well. just joking with ya I indeed enjoy being wakened up by my wife. That's all I'm going to say about that. As the responsible one from providing though, I wouldn't allow her to be responsible for waking me up. What would I tell my boss, if she stayed up late watching a movie or something and I was asleep already, and she overslept, thus I also overslept, because she forgot to wake me up. Uhh, boss, I apologize, that I'm going to be late, my wife didn't wake me up on time today. I don't think that will go over well. Do you? ~ I am by no way implying that this is the case in your situation. I'm just making observation and comments.

None! I just wake up to natural daylight when it eventually arrives! I'm not that keen on alarm clocks, they make too much racket come first thing in the morning! I give you credit for your plan though. I guess it's good to do whatever works for you. I don't even know why the human race created time! I think that we should return to relying on the good old sunshine! I used to have several alarm clocks and they were really irritating! I remember when I always used to hit the snooze button and I would keep on doing this, I just remained in bed as a result. I do admit, I like some of those funny alarm clocks that they have on the market these days. I wouldn't mind the one that actually makes tea for you once the alarm has sounded! Andrew

just one to wake me up in the morning. i generally wake up to the radio and lay in bed and then listen to the 7 am news and then get up after the news/weather is over and then proceed to get the rest of my family up (kids ready for school).

My husband is the one that wakes me up every morning, if one of my kids doesn't do it first. I work from home, but I pack lunches every morning for my kids and husband before they leave for work and school. So my husband always wakes me up right before he takes his shower. That gives me enough time to get up and make everybody's lunch. Then I am up for the day.

I have two alarms set for the morning. I have my mobile phone's alarm that is set on three different times and then I have one inbetween set up on the other side of the room. The first time my mobile goes off it usually wakes me and I just lie and wait for the big mamma to go off on the other side of the room to get me out of bed. It is LOUD! I do not just get out of bed with it, I fall out of bed with it!

I use two alarm clocks to wake me up. I usually don't hit the snooze button unless I didn't have enough sleep last night. Sometimes I will wake up before my alarms ring. I am quite a light sleeper, so after the first alarm rings I can get up already. I don't like to be late. I think it's rude. So I always try my best to be punctual. =) Happy mylotting and good day to you.

When i'm trying to get up in the morning I normally use a travel alarm clock which I keep on my bedside table. I must admit I regularly hit the snooze button at least three times every morning. Often set my alarm to go off half an hour before I actually need to get up as this helps give me a little more time to come round. Failing that my mum will burst in the door and drag me out of bed . This method always seems to work. Won't last forever though.

Its funny because I always set my alarm 1 hour ahead. But everytime it snoozes and set it to snooze again after 10 minutes. And again for 10 minutes. Till I realize that I really need to wake up because I only have 30mins to prepare myself before leaving the house.. Hahaha!

I use my mobile phone for as my morning alarm clock. I usually wake up before it even start alarming. In other situations, I wake up at the first alarm and wait a few minutes before getting out of bed. I already experienced not getting woke up by the alarm for an hour. That was when when I really lack sleep but I have to wake up early. Fortunately, my working hours is flexible. :)

Sounds like you have covered all the bases.. I would never have thought of that.. I have gotten up early for so long that it is an automatic thing to wake early in the morning.. When you are younger, you love the extra bit of sleep, but as you get older, you seem to need less or at least I do.. I have to get at least 6 hours of sleep a night but I have a built in alarm clock now..

My husband sets one alarm. Really Loud! On the dresser on the other side of the room. To shut it off he must get up. Once he's up he can't go back to sleep as easily as if it were right next to the bed.

I have an alarm, then five minutes snooze before a second one when I have to get up. Usually my partner has an alarm at about the time I need to be leaving the house.
