How many of you are using referral exchanges to get referrals? Are they effective? If so how many referrals have you gained from referral exchanges? NO Referral Links, please. Please tell me how good or bad referral exchanges are in term of recruting referrals. Thanks.

They are extremely effective in recruiting referrals. However, I can have 1000 referrals in a program, but if none are active, it has been a total waste of time. This is where referral exchange programs fail, they do not produce active referrals. Unfortunately, not everyone is willing to work as hard as the next person. So, you may receive a lot of referrals, but it isn't going to help you make much money.

Wow!!1000? That's a lot. I wish I had 1000 referrals. I have sites that pay me for each referral that sign up under me. Tell me your exchange sites. No referral links please. PM me and I'll take a look

I have done a couple of referral exchanges in the past, but only for sites that I would have joined anyway, this way if people who I have recruited don't continue, then I haven't joined a site I didn't want to. Out of all the exchanges that I have done, I would estimate about 50 percent of them have and continue to be successful, although this can be a bit unpredictable as some sites just come and go and disappear overnight.

I am never good at recruiting people. That is one of my main drawbacks. Yet I have made a few friends and got them as referrals but I think I had too many disappointments getting referrals. I would say referral exchange is to some degree both effective and very disappointing. Effective because you can share each other as referrals and you can get lots of those around. But we don't know if we just go and join sites that it will be a good one. We all know that the web is so big we don't know what kind of program we are getting into. Some programs work for some people and some don't. There is nothing perfect for everyone. And the only way to find out is to go and see for yourself. Then you can make your judgement if the program is for you. And my main point is if we get referrals we don't get a guarantee that they will work on the site as expected. More than half of my referrals flake. cheers!!!
