Guidance

June 1, 2006 10:44pm CST
I go to Kean university in UNion, NJ and i will be graduating at the end of next year with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts/Studio Photography. I need some guidance because I don't have any experience in photography outside of school besides the photographs that I take for school assignments. I don't want to graduate with no experience under my belt, if you know what I mean I would appreciate someone getting back to me with some guidance Thank You

If you live in a tourist area, often you can get a job taking pictures of tourists like they do at the zoos, etc. They are the people you see that take pictures and then say that you can come back later to pick them up. It might be on commission, though. Since you have a degree, you might be able to start your own business doing wedding photography, if portraits are your specialty. You can also enter competitions and if you win prizes or ribbons, that would look good on your resume, too. I hope everything worked out for you.
