I was in M. D's this morning and I mean those people were really slow in ther. It must have been about 10 employee in there and they were really slow, I couldn't understand why there were so slow. ok, they had the Drive through and one line open. I started to leave but I was so hungry. Do you wat in line for a log time to eat. I know you have, or do you get inpatient and leave?

I usually will wait because I only go there with my kids and they would freak out if I left. I think that you have to be extremely slow to get hired at a fast food place anymore:) I don't see how it can take them as long as it does either.

The other night (friday i think) I was trying to get a smorgesborg (sorry about the spelling) to take home for the family. That is when everyone wants a different place. I went Taco bell and waited 10 minutes without the line moving AT ALL. I left. I went to Burger King and it was slow there too. I order my food quick (all I got was a Jr Whopper) and it took 15 minutes for the 1 hamber order to get filled. CRAZY!!

Mine is doing very well. I had started back on a business I had done last year. I forgot how lucrative it was, so I have been putting extra time into it. A friend of mine reminded me of it. She started doing it full time making about $2000 a month. So I have not been here on the Lot as much this week. I am glad things are going well with you. How is the job hunting going?

I guess you were to hungry to leave. Sometimes I just wait, because I know if I go somewhere else I still will have to wait. I like a place where theres fast service don't you.

Yes, I know what you mean!! I have actualy left a few times and just went to a different resturant. What I find really irratating is when you order just a few drinks and they say "can you pull up please". Why should I have to pull up for 3 drinks while the person behind me get 15 full meals?????? I have had this happen more and more lately. I would say in the past month 3 times!

I only like McDonald's breakfasts, but occasionally I would have something from their later menu. The particular branch near me was notoriously slow during their breakfast run. It may be coincidence, but I started bringing a book when I waited in line. I think a higher up person saw me once, because they are a little better now.

It depends how long we have been waiting or are likely to wait for. We found that Burger King were always really bad for this, and one time we were in the queue for nearly thirty minutes and enough was enough we just left, hungry though we were, we just drove to a mcdonalds instead.

Maybe their boss wasn't there to keep things running smoothly. You'd think with 10 employees it should have been a lot quicker though! It probably depends on how hungry I am, and what time of the day it is. If it's during peak lunch hour, then I figure even if I left and go someplace else, I'd still lose time because I'd have to get back in the car and drive...and then maybe I'd have to wait at the other place too. Usually I just stay put because it's easier, and if I was in a real rush I'd probably just go through the drive through. I try for patience, but sometimes impatience hits too.

If I am really really hungry, yes I do wait. At mcdonalds, I have ordered my food and still waited an incredible amount of time. It is hard to be patient but i bite my tongue knowing that it is generally not any one worker's fault. Oh...and then you FINALLYY start to drive away only to find that they got your order all wrong!!!how frustrating is that?? It happens so very often; I know they are very busy and that this is not an easy job. I do bite my tounge and deal with it. The manager will only get complaints if they are down right, plain rude.

IF there were that many employees just hanging around, I'd ask for another line to open and if they didnt, I'd say, I'll go elsewhere and tell them so very loudly! My problem is that when they have 1-2 lines open and a few dozen people in each line and 10 registers available but no employees at them! Or the worst - at the bank - busiest times of the day on the busiest days of the month and one teller is open and the line is out the door... and ya gotta wait - can't take your business elsewhere!!

No. I would make a statement atleast. Maybe there were new people on that day or the wrong people. They didn't work well together. Sometimes management is not all it could be in those places. They should ride rough shawed over the employees and get them going. Sadly it sounds like a management problem.

I walked out of a couple places before. I was the only one there and they tell me they be right with me. Then they mop the floor. So i just leave and go some were else. That's why i rather eat at home any day.

I will leave if I am being forced to wait too long especially if I'm not expecting myself to wait so long. For example, I go to McD because it's fast food and I need it FAST. If it's taking so long, I will just go elsewhere since it's no longer considered as fast food. However, I normally willing to wait for a while and be patient. If I get angry because of waiting too long, then it must be very serious.
