As you grow older it is likely that your metabolism will slow down. This makes it harder to loose weight. Even more time can bring on physical issues for moving and keeping weight off. Starting early is key to a healthier lifestyle with a longer and usually more fulfilling life.

Supposedly, it is more difficult to lose weight as we age, because our metabolisms slow down. For me, it has been easier to lose weight as I get older since I seem to exercise more and eat less. I think that will power or self-discipline is very important in the battle to lose weight, at any age. I truly believe that if we have the desire to lose weight and eat less and exercise more, we can lose weight at any age (without very much difficulty). Have a very good day.

Yes it is very hard to lose weight when you get older, it is harder for me, but I am not exercising like I should. I want to walk but I am too lazy to do it.

Definitely! It is harder and harder to loose as you get older. I use to be able to drop 5 pounds anytime I wanted to . Now it is killing me to loose just a little bit! I never exercised before and always ate whatever I felt like. Now I exercise, eat right and still don't loose. It really stinks getting old!

yes coz the metabolism of our body will slow down, so that you'll find it harder to lose weight even if we eat less. however, to increase the metabolism, we can keep exercise everyday so that to keep fit.
