Do you drink soymilk?

I like to drink soymilk. My boyfriend and I prefer 8th Continent brand over Silk. He doesn't like Silk at all, but I think it's okay; still, I much prefer 8th Continent. I drink it in anything you might use cow milk in. I really love the Silk seaonal flavor of Pumpkin Spice. It tastes delicately like pumpkin with a hint of nutmeg and is creamy and rich, but not too sweet. The holiday flavor of Eggnogg is okay too. Sometimes I get a different type like the shelf-stable almond milk, and once in awhile I get chocolate soymilk to enjoy. The brands I get for those vary, and most have been good thus far. Do you drink soymilk? If so, which kind(s) are your favorite? Do you drink it often?

I really hate to admit to the fact that I hate soy milk and I have tried many brands thinking it was just the brand I brought. I'm not suppose to have too much dairy ( or any) sometimes . But I do love other soy products like soy cheese, soy beans, soy snacks and TOFU. My favorite non-dairy drink is rice milk, since I don't like the taste of soy milk, rice milk is a wonderful alternative. Rice milk taste kinda similar to cow skim milk and even my son can't taste the difference and he love's cow milk. If you haven't tried rice milk I do highly recommend it. I buy "Rice Dream" brand and I chose the "enriched" which is loaded with vitamins and they also have a vanilla flavor also which is yummy in coffee drinks and making home made smoothies. I have never tried almond milk, but now I'm curious about it and I have to try..LOL

I like cow's milk and only drink skim... but can definitely tell the difference between that and rice milk. HOWEVER, I also LOVE vanilla rice milk with a little cinnamon and served over ice... tastes like a Horchata! My roomie is a vegetarian and so I sometimes drink soy or rice milk instead of cow's milk. Rice, I only like as described, and soy is only good as chocolate. Doesn't taste like chocolate MILK, but it is pretty good.

I find rice milk sweet and watery. I have tried several brands of soy milk and like a Canadian house brand best. Some of them are too beany for me. I tried a soy milk powder a couple of times and it was gross, I had to throw it away it was so bad.

I like to drink soymilk too. Over here, there is the home-made version we can buy from the provision shops. I love that rather than the commercially made ones. There is also a shop which sells all soy milk products. You can have your soy milk in a dozen different flavours including almond, I love that too. There also honeydew soymilk and many more. They are simply delicious!

I haven't had the pleasure of trying any type of Soy milk products. I have wanted to try a few different flavors I have seen on television of the Silk. Maybe, I should just go ahead of give it a try.. I think they should make smaller container for those who just want to try it so it isn't alot wasted if they don't like it. My husband drinks a gallon of milk a day he is a milk drinker and if I tried to turn him to soy milk he would shoot me so I would have to be alone in changing my milk drinking habits to soy. Will thanks for letting us get a chance to see what is good and what flavors aren't and what brands are the best.

Lots of people do enjoy Silk, but it's not MY preference. I' sure everyone has their own tastes. I think the only way is to try it yourself and judge by your own tastes. Best wishes!

hello there Bethany1202, actually I also enjoy the taste of soy milk. I love drinking it especially the chocolate flavored one that my mom buys at the supermarket. My mom tells us that soy milk is good for our health thats why I also drink it often but there are some brands of soy milk that i dont like cause it has a weird taste.

I think some brands are better than others. The chocolate from just about any brand is good. I am also used to the taste. Like with anything else, though, if you start to drink it in place of regular milk for a week or two, you get used to it and will probably prefer it after a few weeks, if you really would like to use it rather than cow's milk... Cow's milk usually has lots of nasty stuff in it like hormones and antibiotics, as well as pus and other things... Check it out! You might wanna switch after reading more information about milk! LOL Best wishes. :D

I do not like the flavoured soy milks. I have tried vanilla and chocolate and disliked them both which is strange because I like chocolate milk and I like soy milk although they tend to put too much sugar in soy milk. If you want to drink soy milk flavoured use something like Nestle Quick or chocolate syrup, it is really good that way.

I'm not a big fan of the vanilla flavored soymilk. I'd rather have the plain or a flavored one such as chocolate or the pumpkin spice.

I like to drink soya milk to. My wife has an intolerance and was introduced to soya milk recently. At first I found it hard to adopt to it but now I got accustomed drinking it. The brand name that I particularly like is Soyafresh. © ronaldinu 2008

I do drink soy milk. I add it to my cereal as well. It's a good source of protien which I need for my sugar issues. I haven't seen the pumpkin spice. It does sound good. I love eggnog so I know I would like that one as well. I'll have to look for them.

Yes i do love it. I love making smoothies with soy milk too. I make them so thick they are like a milk shake or ice cream. I heard on the local news here its very good for females because of estrogen. But they say its not good for men. Sorry cant remember exactly why. Your boyfriend better stick to cows milk. Im sure if you investigated online they will tell you.

i used to hate white liquid. i don't drink milk, soymilk, yoghurt, cultured milk, anything white. i'll have coloured ones anytime. that was until i was 7 or 8. had a school party and there's nothing to drink except soymilk. i took a deep breath and had a little sip (less than 1 teaspoon) to see if i'll throw up after a sip. turned out it was good so i announced to everybody i don't drink anything white except soymilk. lol

No i havent tried it as an adult...i was allergic to soy as a child and my son is allergic to it now, so my thinkign is that i most likely still am, but have never tried it, i suppose i can try it and see what happens..lol. I often see the chocolate one in the store and wonder how it tastes

If you are allergic to soy I would not take a chance as it is not worth it to feel ill. The chocolate soy actually to me does not taste as good as chocolate milk. If you are not lactose intolerent like a large percentage of the population leave it alone and use cow's milk. Use the reduced fat ones though as there are less calories and saturated fat in the skim and 1%.

yes, i think soymilk is the best option if u want to drink milk. it's low in calories, and low in GI so it keeps u full for much longer. best thing to drink when ur hungry! the only brand i've ever liked and drink is the So Good brand which can be bought from any large supermarket here in Australia. It's high in soy protein and low in saturated fat. much better than regular milk. best of all, it tastes good ^^ even the no flavour ones.

We use rice milk, I heard that soy is not good for males. Soy also seems to be harder to digest.
