I am a woman and I say yes. I do it all the time at work. I sit right across from another woman and we hardly talk while we are busy. But yes it is very difficult for us women not to talk. :)

errr...i have to be honest, if both of them know each other, it will be hard to keep quiet at all. but you have to be fair, if 2 man who know each other sits at the same table, they couldnt be quiet for even a minute right?? LOL
