If you have a lot of friends and can start discussions that will draw a lot of responses, that's a good thing, but if you start discussions that no one bothers to answer, you will likely have wasted your time. Many myLot members prefer to just respond to discussions. In that way, they control more of what they'll earn because they will earn based on what THEY do, and not rely on responses from others to make it count.

You earn if you start a discussion that people respond to, the more they respond, the better. If you start 20 discussions a day but no one answers, you've wasted your time. That's why I said you have more control over your earnings by responding to discussions. I'm not saying don't start discussions, I'm saying start things that will get people talking. As for where to put them, I'm not sure what you mean. Pick an interest area that fits what you're talking about.

I do have alot of friends but only few of them are with me and supporting my discussion all the while. I don't feel that a waste of time but i will feel that whether i start the discussion at the wrong time or under wrong section i am always confuse about this. Any helps??? So you mean that people earn when they response to our discussion and we do not earn when they response to our topics but only earn if we comment back?? or by responding to others topics too???

Can see it from the 6429 meaning that you have response that much till now. How you you get to response that much?? What was you earning per day by just responding to discussion?? And roughly how many discussion you response a day??

Ive been here for over 2 years now....There was a stage there where I was responding to just over 20 discussions a day....so the earnings are varied...

Like everything else, I cannot give you an amount I can earn by just responding. It still has many variables. I can earn just responding, so can you. If all of us do that, though, pretty soon there would be no new discussions. On the other hand, if all you do is start discussions, and no one responds, you will not earn. I think you need a good balance of posting discussions, responding to the discussions of others, and commenting on the responses of others to have balanced earning.

I have not done any experiments about earnings in awhile. MyLot does not want you guessing and saying what you earn. They also change things from time to time as far as how they pay for what you do. I used to tell you that all you earn from a discussion is for the first person who responds. Another friend told me that now you also earn for making a comment back when a person responds. I pretty consistently can post 25 posts to earn 34 cents. Thirty four cents a day will guarantee payout. I make more than that most days. I hope that helps you out. I just do not worry about it, but rather try to do my best job, and talk as much as I can with my friends.

How about the range??I agreed on the way you mention that we need to look on when starting a discussion but its quite hard for me. I don't know whether my topics have less response because i started it not on the right time or under right section. So people response to our topics we can still earn although we haven comment back??

I never count earning about starting a new discussion or making a response, i'm just give a response that interest me and start a new discussion which is interest to me too, never count the earnings

Hey,to be frankly,I don't know if there'll be some difference in your earn by responding or starting some discussions.I do them both, maybe half and half~`thus,I can not tell how many I earn from that way~lol`anyway,I believe that it'll be more income for your hot discussions``I means quite a lot of responses to the discussions your posted~what do you think?

Nice guidance from experienced mylotters. I did not know that just participataing in discussion can help equally instead of starting a new discussion. Thanks for the toping and great help. I shall follow the suit.

I mainly respond than do discussions as my friends send a lot of them..as for earning it depends on how many you respond to as to how much you earn in a day..littleowl
