Okay, so I have always been against hunting.. but I think it was just because I was uninformed. Then me and my boyfriend started going out.. and he is a major hunting fan. He would hunt everyday if he didnt have to work. So I started taking an online hunting course. I used to be all like, "Poor deer..who would want to kill them?" i didnt know that if hunting wasnt allowed, deer would over-populate. The more I have learned about it, the more interested I have become.. So he wants me to go hunting with him pretty soon. What do you think about hunting? And what do you think of girls hunting??

We sure do! Sometimes women are more patient and can wait longer for the deer to come in the guys! I know sometimes my boyfirend thinks we should try somewhere else, I tell him to wait and in a bit we will, then after a few min. we spot something, he's always happy I made him stay!! LOL

With the smaller animals the larger ones can control the population of the smaller ones. In the northern country the Lynx control the Rabbit population but when the rabbit population starts to go down the Lynx start to starve out. When there is a lot of rabbits the Lynx over populate. With deer and the larger animals here in Arkansas there are no larger animals to kill off the deer. Hunting controls the deer population. If you stop the hunting the deer would soon over populate to a point they would be starving and sick. I never did like to kill anything and I sure wouldn't kill anything I didn't eat. What I enjoyed most about hunting is getting out in the wild with good friends. I love the taste and smell of food cooked on an open fire. I didn't really care if I went out to hunt or not and some times I didn't. Especially if it was real cold. If it isn't real cold go with your boyfriend and enjoy getting out in the quiet a while. If it's real cold stay home by the fire where it's warm.

I go out all the time with my boyfriend, even if he doesn't get anything it's nice to be outdoors and alone with him. I come from a family that loves to hunt even the women,I haven't shot anything yet because I haven't taken the course but have been thinking about taking it! I think that girls that hunt ROCK! lol Danielle

I believe hunting as in hunting for food is a necessity, but hunting to just kill something and leave it there is pure bs. Someone could have ate off that. I myself would never be able to hunt an animal. I just have this soft spot to me that would hurt to look at an animal and just kill it like that. I know someone would say "So you can eat an animal but not kill it?" but my answer for that is those are two completely different things. I don't see anything against a woman hunting, but I don't know if it would be safe if she's pregnant.

Yeah, i agree with what you said. Hunting for just the joy of it is rediculous. If you're not hunting for the meat, what's the point. But I love meat...especially deer meat, so it for sure wouldnt be wasted!
