i have Fire Fox 3.0 and it worked GREAT!! till this last week.. i thought it was a virus or a whole bunch of things and have tried everything but my firefox crashes every minute or so.. no lie.. no matter if i have 1 tab or a 1,000.. no matter how slow i go.. no matter the site.. i dont understand what happened i reinstalled it and it worked for like a half day fine and then started acting up all over again.. i checked for updates on FF and there werent any.. is there any reason for this? anyone else having probs with it? suggestions?

Well, worst come to worst, revert back to an older version. I guess with new versions, there is bound to be some bugs in it. Wait for a patch or two before upgrading to the latest version is what I usually do. Try checking the System logs when the next crash occurs. From there you would be able to better determine what is causing the browser to crash.

Well, maybe there was some bug in the browser when the page was downloaded. As long as it is working fine, no need to know too much. Windows platform are famous for behaving erratically at times. Just be happy that the problem went away.

I have a problem with all this claim that its supposed to be much faster. Well, they lied so I still had to do config surgery to speed it up.
