what are the simple things that make you happy?

ok, so you've been surprised with a birthday party or you have been proposed to, or maybe you've won a lot of money...these things, undoubtedly make us really happy.
But what are the simple, often forgotten things that make you happy. i can enumerate some...
1 the smell of brewed coffee when i wake up in the morning.
2 a baby I do not know smiling at me at the mall.
3 eating ice cream on a cone.
4 a friend sending me a smiley at YM!
5 a kiss on the forehead.
i think there are thousands.
sometimes i think about this things to keep me sane. in the midst of work problems and bad news on tv, you can stop and notice these things so that for a while, you will forget all the pressures and feel light-hearted.
what about you? what are the simple things that make you feel happy?

I know there are a lot of small things that make us happy and that is just part of us being human,and sometimes it is hard to find the things that make you happy especially the simple things,and I know there are a bunch of simple things that always make me happy,the top one of course is being around my fiance because just being around her always makes me happy and makes me smile,another is playing a video game such as Halo 3 on the Halo 3 Edition X-box 360 because it is something that I have always wanted,and another is watching ThunderCats because it has always been my favorite cartoon show,it also makes me happy to play any of the Splinter Cell games because that is my favorite video game series,and another big thing that makes me happier is the fact that me and my fiance are planning our wedding which is set for September of next year.

Hi there rainegurl. there are few simple things that makes me happy
1. the smell of fresh baked breads
2. watching my favorite diney classic cartoons (Alice in Wonderland)
3. looking at my elephant collection.
4. receiving good morning or thank you at the department store
5. pictures in my wallet
Maybe there are lot more but cant enumerate right now. And its a nice thing if you feel happy all the time, take off all those stress. Well have a happy day.......

One more thing, Autumn makes me happy. I like the color of the trees when is autumn, orange, yellow and red. And the Autumn breeze too..........

I enjoy just sitting around and talking with friends. I think an afternoon just chatting away (in person) is a wonderful thing. I also like good food, good food makes me happy. Of course a hug from my children or my husband is always nice too, a good hug is something to certainly appreciate. I also love to take walks on beautiful days, and I love to travel, but I don't know if that is considered simple. I also like a day where I can just be on line all day and do what I want without having any obligations, that always makes me happy.

Well I have a lot of things that make me happy from the smallest to the biggest.
One thing that makes me happy is my fiance, he can always make me smile and I love just listening to him talk.
Another is lying in bed with him and cuddling, or watching him play his video game or he mine.
I like to read and love reading to my fiance, he hates reading so it works out just fine.
Looking out the window makes me happy.
Hearing stories of earlier and simpler times makes me happy.
Learning new things like how to crochet also makes me happy.
Listening to Music.
Planning mine and my fiance's wedding. This really should be at the top next to just being with him, but I'll plant it here instead.
I like to look for old toys that my fiance and I played with as children and remember the fun times I had just playing with them. We're planning on buying a few of the toys as well, and maybe even some vintage toys such as from the 50's. I haven't talked to him extensively about buying those, but I don't see him complaining.
