Hey guys, are you happy with your height?

Hey guys, I am talking about your stature, your height, your BMI may be and that's it. Nothing more than that. I am kind of short and used to have a lot of inhibitions regarding not being tall. But now I am living it with no regrets. It's good to be beautiful and tall but its still good to be sweet and sane. So, how tall are you? PS: That could be a stupid thing to ask but I am bit curious as to how tall extrinsically you guys are.

I think we all go through the inhibitions of height, weight, good looking...But those are passing phases and once we realise that intrinsic characterestics matter more, then we should be proud and happy the way we are. As to how tall i am, Well tall enough to reach into the loft with a little effort or lend a helping hand. My feet sticking out of my bed at times. Maybe the cot is small. It has its disadvantages you know. Like banging my head into the top of the doorways and having my legs all cramped up sitting in slighlty cramped up vehicles. Yes Mimpi i am happy with my height, maybe a little more weight can help.

It's more than just being convenient. It has so many advantages and you have put across. I can relate to my head sticking out in classes, discussions, seminars and people directing themselves at me even when i did not want the attention.

you just made me feel that short is convenient. No my feet do not stick out, my head doesn't bang on the door panel, I can squeeze myself under anything small and flat to get y things fixed or discovered. I can ride small cars, Ii can even reach out to the toppest of lofts with the help of a ladder. After all short is not that bad.

Are you asking just the guys?If so, then I am out of line. I used to be 5'5" and then I had my son and lost 1/2 an inch. I guessed he zapped my calcium or something. I have wished I was taller because if you are taller you have more muscle and therefore burn more calories. but, all in all, I am happy with my height.

Have you seen Gattaca? One of the characters there had to have some kind of futuristic surgery to chop a few inches of his legs so he could be the same height as the person he's trying to be. I hope you would never go to that extreme, kaye.

When I was in the Philippines, I was happy with my height as I tend to be more on the normal-taller side. But when I got here, I wish I was taller (but I'm not really wishing that hard). I'm that short, Asian girl. Anyway, Boyfriend is about 9 inches taller than I am and that's a noticeable difference. I used to wear heels but I'm more comfortable in flats. When I need something from shelves up high, Boyfriend would always tease me that I'm lucky I have him to ask to bring those things down for me. Boyfriend also jokingly said that short Asian girls are feisty so others better not make us mad because we tend to get scary.

Hey Alice. Thank you for your kind words! When I was younger, I told myself my boyfriend should be at least a few inches taller than me. And the last three were. And I said I would not be in an interracial relationship, it's best to go out with someone who understands my culture. But here I am, very much in love with a tall, white dude who loves me very much too.

I've always been a shorty. I'm small and short but I'm at least taller than 155cm. Sometimes standing among a crowd I'll feel a bit like a kid even though i'm a young adult now. That's because I look young for my age as well hehe. But now I don't mind being short as much. What can I do anyways other than wear higher heels :P

i am extremely happy with my physical conditions and i never regret it at all... i learn to love myself because i am created by God and so i must be ok... even though people can't accept me, i don't really care... as long as i am happy and God accepted me, that is what really matters to me... i am a little bit short for my weight... but i am ok... take care and have a nice day...

I am also not very tall. Like you, I used to feel bit ackward if standing amongst my taller friends. But one fine day during an office training session - One Faculty told - "Our physical appears is not very important and we should not have any inferiority complex about ourselves. What matter is - what we actually do and how we perform it. Our dedication, honesty and devotion is more important than anything else", if we are not tall, we may have some qualities, which a taller person may not have". This gave me quite a good lesson and after that I did not feel inferior on this account. Morever, our height is relative and subjective. (I am taller than my parents and my son is going to be taller than me.......LOL!) We may be taller than a person, who is shorter than us and we may be shorter than a person, who is taller than is. Some of the great persons on earth like Mahatma Gandhi and Napolean Bonapart were not very tall, however they proved to the world, how great they were in their deeds. I entirely agree with you that it is good to be sweet, nice, sane and courteous, even if we have short or little less than normal height. Have a great day! Enjoy the festival which is coming tomorrow!!

I never had inferiority complex regarding my height or anything for that matter. Infact my self esteem is quite high. Only thing, I did sometimes miss wearing nice dresses that would fit a taller person more appropriately. That's it. I have always liked being called short is sweet, or all good things come in small packages and stuff like that.

Hi hun, I'm an annoyingly tall 5'8! Now some may say why is that annoying? Well one important thing first is that my hubby is 6'1 so I can wear high heels and not dwarf him BUT on the other hand when I have my picture taken with my friends, I'm always towering over them and sometimes the top of my head gets snipped off in photos *sniff* hahaha! It is a problem to find jeans which have a good length - generally I have to shop in specific shops to find longer length trousers as general clothing retailers have just one length of trousers - targetted at women between 5'3 and 5'5 I guess! I grew to this height at about 13 so luckily I didn't grow any taller (erm although I grew wider over the years LOL)! On the whole I am content with my height - I might have preferred to be 5'6 maybe but am stuck with it so I'll say I'm content :)

Well, statistically speaking, Im 5'6". Short for other cultures but considered to be a tall girl here in my country. I love my height as well but there are times that I stick out like a sore thumb when im with my friends and that makes me a bit uncomfortable at times since Im not fond of being in the spotlight or something like that. Would love to fade into the background. Since Id be taller than most guys, my family would often tease me to stop growing, else Id have a hard time in finding a special someone. Does height really matter?

I am only about 5feet 4 inches in height and a little fluffy. When i was in high school i was the tallest in our batch that i was always the last on line when it comes to height. There were times then that i got ashamed of my height, though the truth is compared to others i am really not that tall at all. But as i grew older, i had this wish of growing a few inches more because i have learned to love my height. But here in my country, being about more than five feet tall is considered lucky, i think our average height for women is only about five feet. I am one of the lucky ones.

I have been told I am tall for a woman. I am almost 5'8". Depending on the scale and the doctor I am 5'7an 1/2 or 3/4. That is what they say! I say 5'7". And since I am currently pregnant, I will not give you a weight. Let's just say I am usually within normal limits.
