The guy came to look at my parents place and he liked it very much and said he has to talk it over with his girlfriend and will get back with the realtor on Monday or Tuesday with an answer. I'm going to be on pins and needles until then!!Mom is very sick tonight. She has a stomach ache and is having a lot of pain in her side. She thinks she's passing a kidney stone. She hasn't passed much water all day long and her blood pressure is very high. She's thinking of going to the emergency room tonight. They may have to put a stint in her kidneys to get them to work and she can pass the stone. The large one is still there and has to be surgically removed however, it can't be done any time soon due to her having blood clots in her lungs not so long ago. I promise I will keep you all posted!! Please keep up with the prayers!! We so need them right now!!

Just when one thing turns good, something else turns sour. I am so sorry. At least now you know that she is prone to these kidney stones and you know what to look for when it is happening. Good luck. Saying a little prayer now. Huggs to you all.

If it isn't one thing it is always another isn't it? Same with dealing with my dad. Luckily he's been well for a few weeks straight now. I am waiting on pins and needles waiting for the next problem to arise. Prayers going to C&D. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Tell me about it GG. It's pretty scary isn't it Grandpa Bob? This whole year has been a roller coaster of emotions and I'm soooo ready to get off! Mom is at the emergency room now being evaluated and I'm waiting for a phone call from her or dad before going up there. Mom has had kidney stones for a long long time so it's nothing new. She has one huge one right now but she couldn't be operated on because of having blood clots in her lungs. She was on cumin for it but she's off of it now. The way I understood it, she can't have surgery for at least 6 months after being on cumin or after finding it out. I would think after being on cumin, but I don't know for sure. I think both she and dad are on borrowed time. I really do. She thought she'd never have a stroke because her blood pressure was so low all the time, so is mine for I take after her so much health wise except the kidney stones (so far)but now her blood pressure goes way up and having a brain stem stroke already, it scares the hell out of me that she's going to have another one and not make it this time around. She says she's not ready to go yet which makes me feel all the more bad for her. All I want is for them both to see that damned house sold and enjoy some of the money that they'll receive. It's all I ask.

I hope everything works out with the house. You had better talk her into going. You don't want her sicker than she has been. Good luck to you all.

Thanks Thoroughrob.... she's at the emergency room now being evaluated and I'm at home at the moment waiting to hear back from her or dad then I'll be heading up there to be with her. I really believe her and dad both are on borrowed time. If they can live long enough to see that house sold and enjoy some of the money that they'll get then I'll be happy for them. It's all I ask for.

I am glad she went. I hope things go pretty well. It would be so nice if things would just go good for you, for once.

Thanks danish. Right now it's a kidney stone but I don't know if its the cause of her high blood pressure but I would imagine it is because it's pain and pain causes stress and stress causes high blood pressure. I think both of my parents are on borrowed time. If they can just get that house sold and off their backs, and live what ever kind of life as long as it's a happy one then I'll be happy for them. It's all I want for them is to have that house sold and to be happy and as healthy as they can be.

Well I hope that guy comes back soon with good news that he will be taking the house. What a relief that would be (I think I'm on as many pins and needles as you are....and it's not even MY situation to deal with. LOL). My prayers are with your mom. I've had kidney stones and they really HURT! I only had small ones, so I can't imagine the extent of the pain your mom is feeling. I'll keep praying that it all works out soon. Hugs!

Thank you Kat!! So far no word on the guy and the house but as they say, no news is good news.... well I hope it applies to this as well anyway. Mom is doing better tonight but gosh what a scare!! Whew!! She had to have a stint put in which meant she had to be put to sleep which scared the hell out of us because she was told she couldn't be put under because of having a stroke and blood clots in her lungs or she'd die. So they put her in a deep deep sleep instead of putting her under and it worked like a charm!! She has to go back in two months to have the "boulders" removed. They couldn't do it tonight because she has a severe infection and could get into her blood stream if they tried to get the stones so it's best to wait a couple of months. Right now with the stint, her water is flowing so it's working great!! Hugs to you too!!

Your heart and brain must be bouncing around like a yo-yo. I hope everything works out for you. Remember to breathe slowly when you become stressed or up tight...these things too shall pass.

Yes I feel like a corn kernal in a popcorn machine!! Sometimes I don't know if I'm coming or going!! If I'm not snow white when this is all over, I'll NEVER be!! You're right, breathe in and out slowly would help. I'll have to try harder to keep that in mind!! Thanks!

I am sorry to hear this about your mother. I understand what my grandmother used to say when she said "one day up and the next day down. It is always something to keep you on your knees (praying)". I will keep you and your mother in my prayers. And also pray that the guy will get the house. That will be one situation out of your way. God Bless You.

Ahh Cats, I have been anxiously waiting on hearing about the house. I am happy that he likes it, and hope very much that he will want it. Then you tell us about your mom, I said a prayer for her right away. As big a problem as the house is, it seems small compared with your moms health problems. I am a hoping, wishing and praying that you can get the house taken care of. That will help with the stress level and then you all can concentrate on getting your mom well and thru this latest crisis. I hope she decides to go to the ER instead of being stubborn and waiting. Take care, I will keep you in my prayers.

Thanks Polly.... she's at the emergency room now being evaluated and I'm waiting for a phone call before going up there. Gosh, when it rains it really pours. I agree, with the stress of the house trying to get it sold, is no doubt a big part of hers and dads problems. I really believe they're both on borrowed time. If they could get that house sold and get to enjoy some of the money that they'll get then I'll be happy for them. It's all I ask for!

Just got back from the hospital and they've admitted her. So far they know she has a kidney infection and a blockage from a kidney stone that's rather large. I don't know how they're going to get it out because she can't be put to sleep for the procedure. I suggested an epidorial but we'll see how it goes later on today. It's 5:30 am here so I'm going to try to get a few hours sleep and then I'll be back at the hospital once again. Thanks gabs. Hugs to you too....

Hope the man is VERY interested and takes thew house. I can understand the feelings mom is having. I had severe stones all from a lack of water intake. My thoughts and prayers are with you in all aspects here. God Bless and good luck as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi grandpa bob.... I hope so too for it would be such a relief of such a heavy burden!! It looks promising so far but we wait and see how it goes. Mom drank water all the time. So much so that I thought she's float away!! lol Her doctor told her the reason she got kidney stones is because her body can't absorb calcium like it should and instead it turns into stones in her kidneys. Can you imagine how brittle her bones are? I wonder why I'm so freaked about her?! Thanks for the prayers.... May God bless you too!

Hey catsanddogs, I am praying for you and I hope that your Mom will be ok too. I do hope that the house will sell and you can all rest easy finally. I know how stressed out you are about this whole situation. So for now just try to relax and take care of Mom. Hopefully she will be able to pass the stone and feel better soon. My fingers are crossed! Waiting to hear the good news soon!

Gosh~ That sounds rather serious! I hope that your mum would be able to get through this safely. At this moment of time where major illness and operation is required, your mum would need all the support that she could get from her family and that includes you too! Be there for her, and ask her to be strong in her faith that she would get well, and be strong mentally! Same to you, I also hope that the guy who wants to buy/rent the place would be coming back with an affirmative and not a negativity. Well good luck in your life and I wish your mum a speedy recovery! Cheers! And keep your spirits up!

Thanks angelia. That's mighty sweet of you! This whole year has been hard to deal with with one thing after another. There's no doubt that my faith has been tested to the extreme and I've come out of it all with flying colors but here we go again! I feel that my parents both are on borrowed time and it scares the hell out of me! All I want is for them to see that darned house to be sold and they get to enjoy some of the money that they'll get from it. It's what I wish for.
