Do you know the difference between organic foods and their traditionally grown counterparts. Decide which is the best for you, considering nutrition, quality ,taste, cost and other factors. Maybe you're in a bit of a dilemma standing in front of the produce section of your local supermarket. In one hand, you're holding a conventionally grown apple. In your other hand, you have one that's been organically grown. Both apples are fir, shiny and green. Both proide viatmins and fiber, and both are free of fat, sodium and cholesterol. Both are probably good pieces of fruit. One thing to keep in mind is that the organic one was grown naturally and shouldn't have poisons on the skins left from weed and bug killers. They will be more expensive though and with the already higher prices it is a hard decision to make as to which one you want for your family.

Organically-grown fruits are better than commercially-grown ones but that is only half of the story. It has to be free of preservatives too. Cheers!!
