I'm done with movies!

Yes I think he will return to movies. Many actors do this... even athletes, remember Michael Jordan?

We will see if he holds to the decision. I'm not sure his music career will take off.

If that was him singing in the movie then he done a fabulous job and I know he will make it. It will be a change for him and harder then he thinks maybe but I feel he will go far with his music. He might even be coerced into making another movie every now and then.

I think it is great that he is trying to branch out a bit. I think he will come back. Thanks for that bit of trivia. I thought he was the same kid from Space Camp, but the names were different.

I am not into celebrities at all these days. that are all so phoney and only out for themselves and devote their time nad money to other countries, not the USA that made them what they are and support them. Don't get me started on movie stars! But I have noticed that once a star leave to do something else, they usually dont' make it in the "other world" and come back to their first interest (movies in this case) and they never get picked up again as probably the castors or whatever, don't want to trust that one, they will not walk again and two - they have lost their fan base, so why bother. But to each his own - everyone does what they want in that world...guess we'll see. I did rent Walk the Line few weeks ago and it was good - I had a hard time accepting Resse Witherspoon as June Carter - she is Leglally Blonde and Sweet Home Alamaba - not a dark haired country singer!!! Just couldn't get that out of my thought! But Joaquin was really good as Johnny Cash - even his voice and mannerisms were good.

I think actors like most of us get a little tired of what they are doing and want to get away from the stress. Luckily for them they work in a field where they can earn a lot of money for doing just one film, and then they have the finances to take time off if they want, but most do eventually return, at least a little, but it may take years.
