If you could truly save the daylight, where would you store it? Does it have an expiration date? Would you use it only in an emergency? And what would you save it for?

If I could save daylight, I would put it in good size jars, and use it to light the house at night to save on electricity. I don't know whether it would have an expiration date or not. I guess that is something that I would just have to experiment with and find out. I would put back a few jars for emergencies, you know, like if the sun decided not to shine some day, or ..........are you eating brownies, again?

I wouldn't! I would enjoy every minute of it. I don't like DST, it's an outmoded practice that was originally meant to give farmer's more daylight to farm and so that kids in school could help their parents around the farm before and after class. It's SO not that way anymore, and this practice needs to stop. Did you know that there is a jump in pedestrian deaths when DST rolls around? That in itself should be a reason to stop it! Excuse my rant. I'm just fed up with it. I would kind of like to store sunshine in a pretty box and be able to enjoy it on gloomy days but then, that would rob me of appreciation of the sun when it did shine!

I'd save it for nighttime Rosie in winter. The we could use it to brighten our dark evenings. I'd keep it fit for use by sending it every week to a Daytona(er) and let it live in a Day's Inn until we needed it. It would never run out because it would have been harvested with love by smiley people not daylinquents!
