who is your favorite James Bond actor?

[b]since quantum of solace is out today in my country in all cinemas i thought of bringing up a discussion about the ever hit james bond 007!
i really don't know the name of the actors who previously played the character of james bond. i have started liking watching these movies when Pierce Brosnan starred in james bond 007: golden eye although i wasn't able to watch it on movie theaters. i loved his body built for he looked really sexy and that he did fit in his james bond role. should i say he is hot? DEFINITELY!
when james bond starred was changed to david craig, i got a bit disappointed because i really loved pierce brosnan and he is all i ever wanted to see as james bond 007.

i love piere brosnan. i guess the reason is because i haven't seen past james bond movies and he is the one i grew up watching :)

It's Daniel Craig, not David, and as far as I'm concerned, he's the most interesting Bond. I've seen most of the earlier movies and thought they were pretty silly, and sometimes very boring. The same silly plots and villains over and over again. I liked Casino Royale (the new one) because it's not slick, doesn't try to make Bond a perfect hero, and his character is much more interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing Quantum of Solace, but that won't happen until it comes out on DVD. From what I've read, the new films are much more like the books, so I imagine Ian Fleming would probably be happy about it if he was still alive.

The actors didn't make the plots "silly" - they were based on the books and the reason Casino Royale was different was because it was the first book. They are pure "guy movies" - fast cars, scantily clad women, explosions, espionage. Not that only guys can enjoy them but they are geared toward men.
I agree that Sean Connery was the best Bond ever, but I liked Brosnan too. I just didn't think Daniel Craig had the level of charisma that the previous Bonds possessed. I think some of the other actors they considered for the part would have been better, namely Julian McMahon.

James Bond is Roger Moore. Roger Moore is the epitome of James Bond.With his excellent upper class English accent,his Super Cool Attitude and Relaxed Super Self Confidence,who could be better at being James Bond than Roger Moore.? Moore is more than qualified to have that license to kill.He is indeed 007 par excellence.He looks the part,this cool relaxed English man.Just as Johnny Weissmuller was the definitive Tarzan,so Roger Moore is the definitive James Bond.
Roger Moore is Bond..........James Bond.

I have to admit that I haven't watched a Bond film in a long time but my all time favourite and the best as far as I'm concerned in the role as the suave 007 was Sean Connery! He was fabulous and to me he played the role just perfectly :)

Sean Connery! He was the first and the best Bond ever. While I might like movies that starred other actors better (mostly due to plot or special effects), he will remain the only Bond I love completely.
The newest Bond, Daniel Braig, doesn't do it for me. I can't even get excited about the new installment. Nothing's there...

I've watched all actors in action, and my favorite is Pierce Brosnan. He's so suave and cool, the way James Bond should be. His womanizing antics are just so smooth that it almost looks so natural.
I don't like David Craig as well. He looks so... rigid. He doesn't have the dynamic that the other Bond actors have.

For me, I think Sean Connery was the BEST Bond they ever had. He was always so cool and suave and was just perfect in that role. Brosnan did a good job of it, but Connery is the only Bond man I cared for. I still prefer watching the older Bond movies with Connery and will re-watch them here and there; the others I've seen only once and probably won't watch again.

Ahh!! Pierce Brosnan! I too think he's sexy and fits the role of James Bond. Maybe it's because I am used to see him in James Bond movies. I think we should give David Craig a chance to get his role right. I didn't watch quantum of solace yet but whatever the result comes out, maybe he will make a better job on the next movie.

Since I remember the original, and as far as I am concerned the best 007, Sean Connery, it is hard for me to like others... BUT, I did like Pierce Brosnan as he was the best choice for a Bond for that time.
Craig is good but he is not Bond. In fact, this new movie is not even written by Ian Fleming. All of his Bond books have already been done as movies and now they are just trying to copy them.
If they really wanted to do Bond, properly, they would find another good Bond, like Pierce, and do all of them over again, like they did with Batman.

Sean Connery will always be the best James Bond for most people who love the movie, because he set the standard of being the famous 007 :-) but I really love Daniel Craig as James Bond than Pierce Brosnan especially Casino Royale, he's different and he's the james bond that I imagined to watch like Jack Bauer with a style :-)

I definitely think it's Daniel Craig, his charming looks, his outstandingly muscular body (and abs). I mean even his sly looks make him fit more into the assassiny look.
Although I think Christian Bale would have made a great Bond too.

When Pierce Brosnan couldn't do the part because of his role in Remington Steele, I was pleasantly surprised by Timothy Dalton. He is my favorite. But I like all of the Bond actors for different reasons.

My favourite James Bond007, is got to be Sean Connery, the original James Bond and after him was Roger Moore, I liked him as well, but afte those two, I have stoped watching it, I don't like any of them now.

I love all James bond actors but my favorite so far is Roger Moore. I love his eyes and his body.
Yes, Pierce Brosnan is definitely sexy. I like him even when he was not James Bond.
