I know Obama speaks change, but do you think that he will follow through. before my husband left for boot camp he said that the only good thing he would do, is separate the president and who is in charge of the military.

I think that he is going to cause change, probably not exactly what he has said, but I'm sure there's going to be a lot of change. I mean, I don't think we can be energy independent [is that what he says? I feel like I'm using the wrong phrase or something] well I don't think that can happen in 10 years, but I like that he has a goal. It might make it happen sooner.

I don't think we are even trying to be self reliant on our own resources and that is a HUGE problem. On the same note - I don't think making people pay more taxes and increasing what they pay for utilities is going to help a darn thing.

That might be a good suggestion. I really hope that Obama brings the necessary changes that not only America needs but all the world. © ronaldinu 2008

I'm not really sure. I do think he will do alot of what he had promised before being elected though. I do think the jobs need to be distibuted though and he needs to be able to focus on the other issues.
