we have been having nothing but non stop politics for the last 1-2 years and now that the election is over life almost feels empty.. whether or not you like the outcome there will be a big chunk of drama over with now that obama is elected.. so what will america obsess over now in the news?

No telling with the liberal media out there! They'll probably bash the republicans for what the democrats do now.

I am so over the Bullsh1t. Everyone needs to shut up and get to work. You know, we pay the government's salary. They work for us!!! And the media, I feel like smashing my TV every time the so called news comes on. It shouldn't be called the evening news or nightly news rather the evening or nightly editorials!

Hopefully, they will pay more attention to the stock market. Since Obama won, it has dropped more than 700 points!!! I just have a feeling that is corporate American trying to screw everyone over for voting in a black president (well, not everyone - I voted for Nader LOL)

The economy, likely. I'll get angry if they go back to celebrity stuff (unless said celebrities are doing something meaningful, of course).

hi moonlit! what will the good ole U.S of A obsess about now? same thing as it's always done- itself ! mainly its economy and what little can be done, the war?, its collective sense of responsibility to the rest of the world? the rogue state of Russia? will the new president be able to implement any of the policies he talked about?

Presidential campaigns are long and hard and, I agree, lead to obsessive thinking for many who get so caught up in it and the media who report on it. I've been through many elections and life will return to whatever it was before the campaigns started. The news will return to giving more time to international, national, state and local issues...people will return to living their lives.
