Where did you spend all your online time BEFORE mylot?

I have been a member of mylot for around 2 and a half years now and have to admit that it eats up a considerable amount of my online time each week. I tried to think of what I did on the internet prior to mylot being around and for the life of me I don't seem to remember! lol. So what about you? It is clear that I am not the only one that is a mylot junkie of sorts so before the lands of mylot were discovered, where did you spend most of your online time?

You are of course most welcome rkrish! We have all made such wonderful friends on here and although we may not know each other physically, we do get to learn a lot about each other over time through our discussions. I love it hear and I hope you always continue to as well. Thanks for the response and for your efforts in my discussions too.

Well if my friends make the effort to participate in my discussions then the least I can do is acknowledge this with a reply! This is also how we get to know each other better. If there was no ongoing interaction then there would be no charm.

I can imagine that it would definitely be hard to multitask AND play these detailed online games because they would require so much attention! I do know many people that are very much into anime so I am not surprised that crunchy would be popular! Thanks for coming back and education me on what it was all about.

Crunchyroll is yet another new one for me to hear about chibi! I have heard many comments about MMPORG's too, so I think I may just have to have a look at some of these I think. I am nervous to do that though because I have enough trouble finding the time for mylot alone as it is! Thanks for the response.

Haha, There are mostly Asian lovers on there, since crunchy was based on Japanese things, at least that's what i think. You can watch anime and dorama series there, as well as movies :] theres a lot to do on there, if you're ever going to get a crunchy account, be sure too add me! ;] as for MMORPGs, I don't play as much anymore, probably because of 1) I multitask a lot, when in an MMORPG you can't really multitask xD 2) My disk space has decreased since my laptop crashed, and installing these huge files is too big of a burden. I might go back to playing them though, ;] if i get a new computer/laptop

Before MyLot I used to post on Yahoo Answers and Yahoo 360 a lot. It was really only since I retired that I began to use MyLot much. One way and another, it seems I have been using the Internet (or what passed for it then) for about 20 years!

I also remember that I used to play Literati (Yahoo's version of Scrabble) a lot and spent a lot of time chatting with the people I was playing with.

If you have a Yahoo ID, you can play Literati here http://uk.games.yahoo.com/online-games/board/games_literati.html (that's the UK site). There are two versions. The International version and the UK version. They differ in the dictionary used (the UK version allows many more two-letter words). I was first introduced to it by my first online friend - a 15 year old Filipino girl! Since then I have made a lot of friends through playing. It's one of the best games because you can chat while you play and with 4 players that can be very good fun!

I love scrabble but have never played Literati before. If it is the same thing then I would enjoy it for sure. You are the second person to mention Yahoo Answers and Yahoo 360 but I have not used 360 at all and Answers only once or twice in my life I think; and this was seeking answers and not interacting in any way at all. It does feel like I have been using the internet for ages too, but never as much as I do personally with mylot. Business use yes, but my personal interaction in the past was very limited. Thank you for the response owlwings.

Since 1973 nanajanet? Very impressive! In 1973 I was one year old at the time so my dance moves were pretty much restricted to the crawl I think! lol. I am happy to hear that you get a lot of enjoyment out of mylot as I do too. Thanks for the response and keep on dancin'!

Well James I just got here but I suppose in this platform I would say Yuwie. However most of the time spent on the web has been on the endless quest of making money online. I think this is as good as anything to spend time on as the money making thing just seems like fantasy.

Welcome to mylot Boraxo! I can assure you that out of all the money making sites out there, that mylot is definitely one of the more legitimate ones. You will not make a fortune here, but the earnings do start to add up after a while! Just have fun, make the effort to do quality activity and the earnings will soon follow. The mnore you put in, the more you get back! Thanks for the response and I hope you enjoy your time here.

They certainly do add up after a while Boraxo! If you can keep that wonderfully positive attitude and stay here for the friendships and the interaction rather than focus on the earnings, then I can assure you that you will have a great time on mylot!

I have had fun so far and I think I made a penny yesterday not bad for first day*smile* might even be an improvement. In all honesty I am here for the social aspect of the platform but am not so proud that I won' pick up a penny....after all pennies make dollar.

Where did i spend mytime ?. Searching for mylot i suppose. Maye it was doing a little bit of what i was doing here, that is spending time with friends but realtime. And instead of letting my fingers doing all the talking here it was my mouth. And instead of seeing the smileys, it would be seeing the real emotions on people's faces. Now nose hair picking, and the destruction therapy were somethings not discussed. Seriously James, I was like a zombie. Mylot has changed my life. I'm sure these words say it all.

Ah, but did you find mylot or did mylot find YOU alok? In it's own special way i would have to say that mylot has changed my life also. I certainly never expected to become so entranced by a social site like this! There have been many people come and go; many changes to formats and many ups and downs but overall it has been a wonderful journey up until now. If it wasn't for this particular battle I am facing today I would say that my time here has been close to ideal! Thanks for the response.

Hi James. I was with a social networking site before I joined myLot. I was introduced here by my friend and also my upline in that site. I have been busy too with friendster before. Glad I came here and trusted my friend for I really enjoyed being here. I've met good friends here and somehow we became close. I'm really also glad that my Best Online Friend (BOF) joined me. Somehow we've share the same interests by sharing our views and thoughts and also our opinions by joining discussions. Keep myLotting. HUGz always!!!

Hi dhangski. Friendster seems to be a popular site among many of the people that have responded to this discussion; but again, I have never actually set up a profile there! Your friend certainly passed on to you a solid recommendation when introducing you to mylot, so I am happy to hear that you have enjoyed being here. I have made some great friends too and will always enjoy the interaction here. It's a nice escape for me too! Thanks for the response.

Hi james! I have been here for 5 months now and I think I used to watch something that they called tv? I believe that's what I did! Now I don't hardly ever turn that thing on at all. lol And by the way, am I on in your notifys because I never get notifys that you are starting a discussion ever! I have to go hunting to find out that you started a discussion. So could you check and see if I am on or off? I am so addicted to mylot that I just can't stay away. I turn on the computer first thing in the morning, check emails turn off computer. Then again in the evening I start to answer emails and I don't stop unti the early morning hours. I don't see any of my favorite tv shows at all. I don't know what has happened to me! It is crazy!

Hi Opal! TV? My goodness, that's SO old school these days! lol. I still get my healthy (or unhealthy maybe) does of TV daily and especially in the evenings because my wife and I take turns on the laptop at home and I have to keep myself occupied when it's not my turn; but mylot gets just as much if not more attention for sure. I don't have notifications active at all at my end Opal as the constant emails annoy the heck out of me. Does it need to be on at my end too?? And I am sure you are not crazy at all by the way and are just as absorbed by this site as the rest of us. For me it is an escape from work etc and I have mylot always open in the background so I could move between the site and my daily tasks. It is somewhat therapeutic for me to be able to clear my mind with something fun while I work. Thanks for the response.

James, in answering this I will give away a bit, but then I already have in the Panda Spanking threads lol. I hung around three sites mainly: Collarme, Bondage, and Lavalife (Adult section). The first two have chat rooms and busy discussion forums, although the content is a bit more daring than most of what happens here lol. But they don't pay, and chump change as it may be, I need the pennies, so bye to my friends in Bondage and Collars. Lash

I had a feeling you may have been sharing sites like these the second I saw that you had responded Lash! They are always there for you if you feel the sudden urge to discuss things a little more daring than us mylotters are capable of at least! lol. I was never here for the pennies but it's amazing how quickly they start to add up after a while! Thanks for sharing mate.

Mylot is my first and last. Although, nominal, they honestly pay. That's how I have been working here. Another thing, I find it very simple to handle, Some other sites are very complicated. Howeverm I wish mylot increases pay-rate for us considering the market price everywhere around.

Yes, the earnings are certainly nominal prasanta, but they do add up after a while! Personally I am here for the friendships, the distraction and the ongoing interaction and the money made is a bonus! I have no idea if mylot will ever increase the pay rate or not but for now I am just happy to be here as it is so we will have to see! Thanks for the response.

On the second quarter of this year 2008, only that I joined mylot, with the invitation of my Best Online Friend (BOF). But I had been too busy looking for some extra income with one of the social networking site that says they pay. But until I joined mylot, I didn't receive any small amount. There are also some other sites that I've been like friendster, etc... But mylot is the best site for me today, since I joined here, nothing more can compare...
