Will Australia struggle to hold to no.1 spot hereafter?

We have been seeing Australia struggling to compete with the Indians in the recent series to India. Indians have dominated them in most part of the series. though there have been times when Australia dominated, still they have not produced results. To look at stats Australia managed to take only 17, 14, 12 wickets in the last three matches against India. With such a poor bowling attack will it be able to remain as the no.1? What are your views?

Each time Australia struggle a bit in cricket, I have seen them strongly come back in the next series. Teams do loose in cricket. It happens. But, I think Australia is coming back strongly when they loose. They have team meetings, see where they went wrong and go ahead with the next series with a positive attitude and keep on winning matches. That is what has been seen with the Australian cricket team in the past few years. I don't think they could easily loose that no.1 spot in cricket unless they are playing very poor cricket.
