I think all you have to do is take out the professional and then go back in and reinstall the XP.

Just put the windows xp home edition in the cd rom. It should be relatively easy. If you encounter a driver problem you can always start a new thread. © ronaldinu 2008

You need a installer of Microsoft Windows Xp Home. A bootable disc is required to reformat and reinstall the XP home. What features didn't you like from XP professional?

I've been dealing both in computer Hardware and software so I surely can help you. Perhaps what you want to do is to reformat your hard disk and install a fresh copy of Windows XP Home Edition? If Im right then here's the steps: 1. Boot from your CDROM Drive (You can set the boot order on the BIOS) and when asked to press any key to continue, do so 2. Wait for a while (Several minutes) and follow the prompts, restart yoru computer when asked. 3. Everything in Windows XP Installation is pretty much self explanatory, so you don't have to worry your might do the wrong thing, just read and analyze what the prompts says. If you got more questions, just don't hesitate to ask me pal.
