I went to check my messages last night, and in my in box it read, Hey wuz up. That was all that it said. I don't know whom this person is, and how they even got my phone number.. It is from an Sprint Mobile Carrier. Is there an way that I can find out who is the owner of this number? It is an local cell phone number. So, I called this number from my home phone, and I paged them with a paged number of 911. That means if they continue to call me, I will go to the police! I don't understand this person. Why would they call me and not ask to speak to an particular person? Why text my cell phone and not just call me instead. That way, I can hear their voice and they can hear mines. I don't know what time that this text came in on my phone, but I checked it around 10 last night.. When they call they never ask for anyone.. That is why I asked them to tell me who they are looking for. That way, I can figure out if they have the wrong number or so. They may be calling for Sandra Holliday, this woman may have had the same cell phone number as I at one point.. I get many calls for her. I wonder if they are looking for her, because when they call they never ask for her. I know you all told me to ignore it and not to bother with it. But, this is very strange. I thought that after I left the voice message on their cell phone, then maybe, they will realize that they have the wrong number and they would stop calling.. So, now, I don't know what else to say.

Woah.. You're still having those weird calls still!! Well, since you did try so many times to ask who are they specifically looking for, they could just be pranking you.. Since it seems you're eating their bait!! People usually ignore these things and not call back or just ignore the calls and text messages.. Since you did, they might like pranking you.
I guess the best thing you can do is to call Sprint and ask who is that calling your number.. If they have the policy of not being able to provide information like that to a person that is not the owner of the number.. I'd suggest to call your network provider and ask them to block the number that is calling you because they seem to be pranking you. Or alternatively, you could call your network provider and ask them to check on that number who calls you and text you all the time because everytime you ask them who they want to speak with, they don't answer..
This issue seem to be quite scary now.. Since you're unable to ignore it, do try to block the number from calling and texting you because if it isn't a prank, I doubt they will keep calling and not talking or answer your voice mails.. or texts.. This is very highly a prank... I wish you luck in this cream97!!
Take care!!

It seems that Sandra holliday was a very popular person. It's very annoying when you receive such text. Why don't you change your mobile number? I had a mysterious call last few weeks when I discovered it was from a telemarketing company in Italy.

i'd call the cell company and tell them whoever had the number last has people looking for her bothering you,and ask for a change.it may or may not require a police report, but they'll usually do it for you.

That is a bit weird, but me being the curious person that I am would have to find out who it was! I would have to text back and just try and find out who it was. But if it is worrying you then you would have to try the telephone company or get the number blocked from your phone somehow.

Just block the number. By now they surely should have recognized their dialing mistake if indeed it was one. Somebody is messing with you. The more you indulge them by responding the more a kick they get out of it. Whoever it is, he/she obviously hit a mark and is very happy about it.

The person might be calling for Sandra Halliday or it might be a case of someone wrote down their mobile phone number but their writing was mis read or entered in the phone then stored. When I was at college a friend had a similar number to his local cinema. His family often got phone calls asking which movies were on. I hope that you find out who the caller is and that it is just a mistake. Yes, with a voice message you hope that the person will know that is not their friend. Good luck and I think the police would only do something if it was nasty phone calls. If this happened to me I would ask my mobile phone company if I could get that nuisance number barred. Good luck.

Hi THere! I know how you feel because it happened in our home. Someone kept calling us in our home phone number. We have a caller ID so we called the carrier and ask if we can get the name of the person with that home phone number too. Fortunately, the lady we spoke to give us the name of the owner then my aunt called them and it turned out that it is a boarding house, they can't really tell which boarder keeps on calling us. The land owner said that he will talk to the boarders. After that, we never get another mysterious phone call.
It really S*cks if someone keeps calling you in the middle of the night... At the end, we change phone number lolz.

Well, this happened to me before. But I know later that it comes from a friend who just want to play with me for fun. She used another number rather than his usual phone number. with that I would not know who is bothering me. And every time he called, no body is answering on the other line. But I was able to trace it later. I suspect that is the same thing happening with you. If you can not stand for it, you change your number and give numbers only to trusted people.

I would just change my number or buy yourself a new phone with a new number, maybe you should go to the police, good luck.

I personally would call Sprint. The cell companies have certain ways to block these numbers and also to catch ppl that are harrassing. They may also just offer to change your number which doesn't sound half bad right now. Good luck Cream!
