I received $100 today! What a blessing!

Early this morning an officemate mate handed me a small letter envelope containing a crispy $100 bill! "Why, what is this for?" I asked. "In appreciation for all your assistance...it is not even enough actually." I smiled ang gave her a big "THANK YOU!" It was her way of appreciating all the assistance I gave her in preparing some important paper works for her business and she was so happy because the business gave her good returns. Gratitude can be expressed in numerous ways, and one of those ways is to say "Thank you" or send a note or flowers to someone who deserves it, or giving cash incentive (as I just received). How about you.. how do you express your gratitude or have you had similar experience as mine? Kindly share?

Well that was nice of her to do that for you, and I'm sure you appreciated it. Nothing like that has happened to me, but last year, the lady my husband works for handed him an envelope one day, and he asked her what it was for, she said it was just a gift. He looked in it and there was a check for 500.00 in it, she said she got some interest from some money she had in the bank, and decided to share it. I couldn't believe she did that, but it was sure appreciated, and we sure needed it at the time.

Wow that is indeed a good blessing for you. Seldom do we receive such amount just like that. Although it may not be commensurate with the service you've rendered but the effort is much appreciated.

WOW!!! that is very nice... Wish I could receive that too.... jk :)) But kiddin aside... you actually deserve more than that! And on my case... I can't do the same, I don't have the capcity to give away money because I do not have money to be given away in the first place. tsk...tsk... lol But ONE thing that I believe the best way I could repay the kindness of my friends is through PRAYERS... By including them always in my prayers... Like what I did for my special friend here...YOU! God bless you always and your loveones too.

Even without material things we can always return favors and prayers for them is perhaps the best way. Prayers for friends is more than money can buy. I love to hear that friends are praying for me and I do pray for them as well.

It is so nice of your friend to show such a nice gesture.I believe in giving money to people I appreciate instead of some gifts which they may already have.Money always makes a difference.

It's a nice gesture indeed. Money does make a difference. At least I can buy whatever I want from that amount but even without that amount I still will help her the best way I can. I love extending help in my own little way.

What a good habit. I can't blame her because the more you give the more you receive. God loves cheerful givers so He blesses them even more.

That is a very nice way to feel appreciated. Sometimes I have other type of satisfaction, when my students get good results even though I hardly receive verbal appreciation by parents or students. However when I meet them some time after they leave school they do show appreciation for the work that I have done with them.

Ohhh teachers are modern day heroes and seeing their students reaping success is by itself their reward. However verbal expressions of appreciation coming straight from a student or parent's mouth gives a teacher a different kind of joy.

wow!! congratulations my friend. I am just wondering why I did not receive notification of this topic of yours? hahahah... but anyway, that is a great blessing my friend. But only $100? hahaha I just wish she will add more next time as her business will progress.. Well, for me, I usually give card or gifts as a token of appreciation and gratitude.

Thanks my friend! Actually, she told me this is not even enough! Ha!ha!ha! For sure more blessings from her are coming! Ha!ha!ha! You mean you also are experiencing the same problem of not receiving notification on some posts. I also do have this problem and I only noticed that last week as I check topics from "friend's started"!

Good job. Great deeds results in great rewards. That was very considerate of your boss to reward you like that. She really appreciated you for your hard work. That was certainly a blessing. I received a blessing today as well. My husband and I helped my landlord remove a ton of leaves from the yard. we filled ten big bags, and he gave my husband and me $20.00 each. I felt so blessed, because I did not have any money, now I will be able to give at church tomorrow.

Few people do appreciate and acknowledges someone who does gave them the favor, sometimes, it lightens our day when we do something good and a thank you from someone do make us really proud and satisfied within. Giving a $100 is an advance bonus you have for a christmas gift, you deserve it anyway, just keep doing what you think would serve others and you will see more blessings will knock on your door. God blesses your good heart.

it is really nice to hear from you that you were appreciated for your work and you are lucky to get this and your collegue must be good enough to give you this regards as now in this world you can find that there are more people who just dont remember the efforts of other and the help they provided to them to grow further in life, but the person who remember the favours done by others to them will surely grow one day and reach higher levels in life. i had never experienced this but i have seen many people who had forgotten the favours and i had also seen the people who remember the favours for lifetime and always praise the one who had helped him/her.

Thar is awesome to read about and good for you! I am happy just helping usually. I work with some people who are ungrateful and rude, but I try not to let it get it to me. So I usually go on with my day. I volunteer whenever I can and just do what I can each day. I usually tell people thank you and treat them with respect when I express my gratitude.

It's quite annoying to have rude people around but it's good you don't let it get to you. Just do your best and don't let others affect your willingness to work and be of help. Saying thank you for every kind deed is a nice gesture. I love hearing and saying those words as well.

wow that is nice surprise in the morning...good hearted people are really blessed just like you and i can see that you are a very willing help for those who are in need...because i have been reading your posts and you really give thought to what you have to say always keeping in mind the intention to help, to guide, to offer assistance or a very good advise...you really deserve that. On my part my parents have been very generous to my family and my kids, now that we are having hard times financially...they are always ready to help...what i do to show my appreciation is do some chores at their house because they do not have a maid, and just keep their house clean...that way they like giving more help to me which i really appreciate.

Thanks for those kind words friend. I really could sense you came from a generous family. Remember your post about your sister who showed such generosity! It's a blessing to have one like that. Of course I could also see that you deserve being extended such generosity because you know how to return the favor in your own wonderful way.

I actually bought food for the whole staff so I could share my blessings with them. And they were so happy about it. So I was even delighted. I shared the happiness around with the amount given to me. What a nice feeling!

Congratulations for getting a cash incentive. Being a kind person does have a good retribution. I did give a little incentive to person who have helped in terms of cash . I should say this is given because I have to so that I can retrieved my items without the need to pay even more. Well, that is another name for this which is "corruption". I feel bad because it is sort of illegal but everybody is doing this so I will be silly if I follow everything by law.

Yes, there is always a payback for good things done. It does not mean always in material things but in many hundred good things done to you in return. But corruption ineeded is the opposite. There is also a payback for those who do corruption but that would be the saddest day for them.

We need friends and people around to help us out with things we find too hard for us to handle alone. And having people who are willing to help is something to thank for. Giving something in return or saying sincere thank you is a very nice gesture.
