It is not about punishing the Democrats success, it is about making thing fair. It is better for everybody when you spread the power around. Now I know that Democrats worked hard for the power them obtained and it would be a gross injustice to take what they earned by the sweat of their brows and to give it to others who did not earn it. Yes I know that the electoral process allows a person from any background to work hard, to build a strong organization, to raise investment capital an took the personal risk. But I want to do is make an environment of fairness, and it is not fair that Democrats have all the power.
Sound familiar anyone?

I don't really get into politics but I do know that the republicans are the ones that were running things when Bush was in office. Now Obama a democrat is not in office and they are running things. I would like to say no there is nothing wrong wit it. But it could be when it comes to voting on bills and other things. The republicans will loose hands down to the democrats.

I think we will find in the next few months that the dems are not interested in giving up anything. Only in taking control of the country and discarding anyone who gets in their way. The "Fairness" Doctrine will be the start of that. By oppressing the First Amendment Rights of anyone that doesn't tow The Party Line.
Did you know that the Dems have still not given an up or down vote to 38 Qualified Federal Judge Candidates that Bush Has appointed? And they have no intention of doing so. As soon as BHO is inaugurated, he will appoint his own people to those positions. I think this is not just dirty politics, It is VILE. And If I sound like this pisses me off. It does. But not just at the Dumpsters. But at my own party for sitting on their thumbs and allowing it to happen. The Republican party has outlived it's usefulness.

I think the worst unbalance of power is how the media and education is in the pocket of the Liberals.. Those are some powerful influences (and information shapers).

They only make that argument when someone else is in power.
I would say that the democrats did a great job with the economy so far in the two years that they have been in power... and I expect a lot more of the same general success with the economy under their watch in the immediate future.
Of course, with the liberal propaganda machine in full operation... expect to see glowing reports on how well the government is working, and the great accomplishments of 0bama as he ascends to his throne.
Pravda had nothing on our media.

Yes, it does. But remember if things don't improve in two years, we can change the makeup of Congress. The government should have check and balances. Especially in regards to the beliefs of both parties. The real problem is that right now there aren't really any. I am afraid for the next two years things will actually get worse, especially if all of that proposed spending is actually passed.

Well yeah, it's about as fair as the stupid "Fairness Doctrine" that isn't fair at all and should be called the Unfairness Doctrine.

It is usually best when both parties share power, then if one goes into excess the others will stop them and if one does not do enough, the others will prod them on. Having all Democrats is just as bad in fact more then all Republicans since the former motives are to give people what they want and not demand sacrifices, that is, unless their leader is ah - black?
