Have you ever recieved the minimal responses for any of your discussions which

Hi Bala jeee hope u must be doing well Ahh what a topic bala jeee Well there are some people in mylot who have daily target to start New discussion, Reply New Discussion and they work for it and they just start discussion for the sake of it, They might not mind if they get response or not But there are some people who think before starting discussion, a really good topic but get vert few Responses. Its just look weird but its my observation, You will see very less responses to serious and nice discussion, but general discussion secure more response and longer life And well, i start every discussion with hope that it will get nice and qualitative responses and lucky get on them too Take care

I started a discussion ages ago about job interviews and only got 1 or 2 responses which was quite disappointing. I also posted one a few months ago about making resolutions (as in new year's resolutions) throughout the year which got no responses at all. I guess some topics get responses at different times of year. I don't mind really, if I accepted every single friend request that came my way maybe I would get a lot more responses to my discussions but as it is, I like the fact that only people that have something relevant to say give input to my discussions :)

My best discussions are those which as many friends respond to Bala, so the other discussion which they would have missed out on would always be ones with minimal or no responses.

Would you expect less from any one of your children? i guess no. all the discussions i start are special to me and i wish them all to fare well. but i do end up getting less rsponses in many, mainly which concerns social issues and stimulating. that's offputting!

Hi balasri, I don't do many discussions so wheneve I do one I just get minimal responses and one or two of my disussions was very good but did not recieved that many responses. Tamara

Hi Bala...Mylot sure is a most unpredictable place as far as discussions are concerned......If getting minimum responses to a discussion you consider your best is heart breaking,then how do you think people who cannot log into mylot at all one fine day without any reason ,and with no explantion forthcoming,would feel? And the other day I posted a new discussion "Humour therapy".......its the most innocent and most straight forward , of my discussions,and today it has been removed for discussion guideline violation..And here your are worriyng over getting mimnimal responses.....So Bala....what I am saying is,be happy,come what may.....

I have never tried to get a whole lot of responses to any of my discussions. I have tried to make some good ones int he past though.

I think that anyone who has been on Mylot for any length of time has experienced this. It is quite disappointing to say the least. But on the other hand, there have been many times when I have posted, just to vent and got many more responses than I anticipated. So I guess it pretty much evens itself out.

Hi bala..I have always normally made discussions on the unknown and there was one I thought I would get a few responses too and only got about 3..guess it was upsetting as you would think that your friends would say something but only three did and one of them wasn't even on my friends list, now I don't worry about it...littleowl

I would say that it happen so many times and at first I was bothered if it is just me who considered it a good post and some don't. And when I am able to get the hang around I noticed many things that would relate to my notion and that's where I discovered what it is all about. Not all good discussions attracts tons of responses and the opposite of it gathers a lot. I believe I don't have to spit it out to get to the point and I know you know what I'm saying.

hahaha, i have this discussion of my best friend and got zero response,, but its just ok with me, maybe they are not interested about my friend, but mostly my posts have this 10 or more responses, and happy for that, but im not really a discussion starter, maybe im afraid of not being responded, so im used on making response to discussions of my friends!!anyways i earn the same!!happy lotting...
