Oh, us meat eaters love veggies. Have you ever had mock mashed potatoes made with cauliflower? It is good. I will give you the recipe, if you like.

Well since my mom and dad came for lunch at 12 today I got up early and put the roast which had a burgundy pepper marinade in a crock pot to cook and also fresh baby garden potatoes with baby carrots and onions and it was so good. Me and my husband had the leftovers for supper.

Sunday dinner today is going to be lamb hotpot pie and roast potatoes and veg and gravy. I will be making a start on it very soon as it will probably take a while to cook and I do not want it to be served too late!

I am alone most Sundayss for lunch so I haven't decided what to have. Probably some left overs or imply a salad. Depends on what is in the fridge.

We have our main meal at supper. We used to have it at lunch when my husband was working the afternoon shift and we did get Sunday off. So this Sunday, we will have soup and a sandwich. Well I might just have soup as I overdulged myself last night.

For Sunday's lunch I had, roast beef, mashed potatoes w/ gravy, green beans and ham, coleslaw, and hot rolls. A friend of ours made dinner today and invited us to eat, it was good, the best meal I've had in awhile.

I went to church this morning, and made a breakfast sandwich before I left. I got out of church at two this afternoon. My husband and I were to go to his step son's house. I thought we were going for dinner. After church we decided to grab a bite from Wendy's to tie us over before we ate. When we got to the step son's house, the wife was out shopping, and they had just moved into their apartment. We were offered something to drink and snickers. I guess that was our lunch. Evidently my husband's ex wife told my husband that the step son was having dinner, she never mentioned that he had just moved, and actually was not planning anything. Needless to say, we were starving by the time we got home.

Usually we miss Sunday lunch - we're either gardening, lazing around or at the beach. My husband always cooks a roast dinner though, which is ready around 7.30pm!

Hi ronaldinu, Well we don't eat Sunday lunch, we have a nice Sunday dinner which we have later in the evening. We are not big lunch eaters. We had a nice roasted chicken which my boyfriend bought from the store already cooked to save me some work. It is made so nice and juicy and tastes great! I made some rice with a cream of chicken soup gravy. I also made some macaroni and cheese for him. I don't eat that. I also made some carrotts too. And he had some bread and marjorine. We both were stuffed! It was a delicious meal! I know I ate so much I couldn't breathe! Now I am about ready to have my dessert which will be a nice bowl of ice cream. My boyfriend just had his. He had a piece of banana cake with buttercreme frosting which I made and ice cream. I just will have the ice cream!

Well, yesterday was Sunday. I wasn't feeling too well yesterday so I didn't feel like cooking. My husband went to K&W and got some lunch for us. I had hamburger steak, broccoli, some mac/cheese and a roll. It was really good. I ate it and laid down on the couch cause my body was just achy feeling yesterday for some reason but I feel better today. I don't even know what my husband got to eat from there. He got our son some chicken tenders, green beans, and a cookie.

That is cool that you had meatballs with vegetables and mashed potatoes for your Sunday lunch, and my mother usually cooks something on Sundays for lunch and then me, my fiance, and my parents all sit down for lunch at the dining room table as a family which is always a good thing, last Sunday my mom cooked cube steak, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans and corn, and biscuits for Sunday lunch, and the only things I ate were macaroni and cheese, and cube steak and a couple biscuits because I do not eat any kind of potatoes or green beans, even though I do eat corn every once in a while, because it is good, and it is very healthy for your body because of the nutrients in it,and since it is just Tuesday I am not sure what my mom is going to cook this coming Sunday for lunch but some of the things she normally cooks are spaghetti because everyone in this house loves spaghetti especially me,tacos because she buys taco kits from the grocery store and makes them because they are very good, and they are cheaper than going to a place like Taco Bell to get taco's and she will also bake chicken from time to time,or maybe even make Sloppy Joe's because they are a quick meal that does not take long to cook, and Hamburger Helper which never takes long to cook, and everyone in this house will eat both of those, and they are especially good if you do not have time to cook a big meal.
