Don't you just hate when your pour a soda and the foam overfills the glass?

Well, for some strange reason, here lately, that doesn't happen to me hardly at all any more. It's really kinda strange, but when I pour a can of soda or tea into a glass with ice, it fits perfectly in the glass. I hardly ever have soda or tea left over in the can, and my glass is totally full, but not brimming over. I guess after all these years I've finally figured out how much ice to put in a glass!

Just a little trick I learned after many buble overs. Try tilting the glass a bit to one side while pouring drink Slowly from can onto inside side of glass. Easier said than done. Glass tilt and slow por are keys. Careful pouring. hehehehe :)

Yeah, I've done that before, but it seems that now I've got the timing and amount of ice cube down pat. It seems like I VERY RARELY spill over any more :)

i actually like the foam it's a race between me and it... if i can slurp enough of it before it dissipates or not lol... but if you pour with the glass slanted a bit it reduces the amount of foam. Besides if there is foam you know that the can still has a lot of the flavor in it unlike an opened bottle that loses all the soda fizzing quality

My husband sticks his finger in the glass while he's pouring. I don't see that it makes much of a difference, but he seems to think it does.

That sounds like a handy ability to have developed. Maybe it will open a whole new career field as a bar tender (not). I hope you are enjoying your soda, or tea, and do not get too cold. I would not want a cold drink right now.

NO NO NO, I don't think I'd make a good bar tender. I hated waiting on tables, I think it would be worse behind the bar. I think I'll just keep this an "in house" ability!!!

I'm glad you're happy! I was thirsty for a soda, but ended up getting water instead. I'll probably get a soda when I'm done with the water.

Hey reiny! You sure are picking some weird topics tonight! But I'n answering them so what does that say for me! lol! I know exactly what you mean. But, the ice will usually keep the foam from making it spill over. But, it's funny about how when you fill up the glass and it's just the right amount and the glass is exactly full without any left in the can! I don't get many cans anymore but I know what you mean. And I think I'm losing it tonight too! I just answered your other discussion about the DVD that won't play in your DVD player! I wonder what else I'll find from you in my emails! Can you imagine what it will be like when we meet in person?

You know, sometimes things just go around in my head and I wonder what other people think of them. Like I've said before - the mind is a horrible thing to waste!!! Hey, and thanks for posting to my discussions, I hope to have a few more good ones tonight :)
