If you have a pet dog, cat, if you have attachment to it, you feel it is human. Do they cry or laugh or it is only tear fluid.

Crying and laughing are human ways of expressing emotions and I do not think animals have this way. Animals can whimper and whine when they are hurt, but crying involves the production of tears with this emotion and animals cannot do this.

Good discussion you started. Yeah they laugh and cry but we can feel their happiness/sorrow but can't identify and its obvious when they lose their partner/child.

I don't have one but I do know that my dad had a cocker spaniel that if he didn't spend time with would cry all night. If my dad sat near the window it would bark at him like asking him to come play.

I think they cry and laugh too. I have seen my dog cry many times. Usually when I left with a travelling bag. He doesn't howl. All he does is look at me go though. I was touched when I saw he was crying. If you care for them they would feel attached to you I guess.

they do laugh and cry because tommy the dog at my home understands the situation and will make the thinks accordingly, event though they have only 5 sense they r far better in understanding the situation rather than human beings ,, i love ny pets

i don't really know if pets do cry but i consider them to cry too. lol ^^ but even if they don't, they have feelings too and they can be sad. i have a pet dog and i was alone and depressed then, that i cried in front of her. yeah, my dog had been my companion when i was a bummer in the house. and it amazed me that she seemed to understand what i felt. she tilted her head sideways, her eyes seemed to be speaking to me. i know she knew what i felt. i guess she might have felt sorry for me.

animals also cry when their belongings go far away from them.they feel unhappy as what a humanbeing reacts.
