Many many years ago I used to live in a house with 9 or 12 people, the number of people varied over time and for a time we had a biweekly schedule of who would make the evening meal, the other meals were on our own. And we had a schedule to make sure the dishes got done. It made life easier than other places where I have shared with large numbers of people and we sort of went with the flow and things got rather congested and a coule of us always ended up doing the dishes. Schedules can be very nice.

Now that I live with a lot less people and have to cook every day and am responsible for cleaning the kitchen as well, I rather miss those days. It was a very hetic house hold, everyone was in college, most holding down a job, and all were involved in clubs and politics. Many of us lived on coffee for most of the day and only at real food that one time during the day and sometimes some of us did not make it home at at all until sometime the next morning. Some of us only caught dinner a few times a week, but it was always refreshing to be able to come home to a clean kitchen in the middle of the night and beable to fix something. And it always encouraged you to clean up after yourself. It was also lots of fun to to sit down to a meal with a group of people that you really liked and it was really a lot of fun preparing those meals, since there were so many of us we weren't requited to cook once a week, it was more like ever 8 or 9 days, same with clean up. In many ways I really miss that time, but I'm not sure I could evry live like that again. Enjoy this life style while you are still young.

Yes we do have cooking schedules here, but i got a negative comment about the cooking sked on the days when we went to kalipay. According to cherry erna failed to cook for breakfast last saturday and sunday. I felt sorry for those who were left behind. I know its not good coz others might have a not so good impression about it and have ill feelings towards the in charge. Im just hoping it wont happen again.
Have a nice day and take care!
