Are you short sighted or long ?

I can see far away objects without my glasses but if you ask me to read anything without them, its just a big blur. I have two pairs of glasses, just in case I lose one or it breaks. I am totally blind without my glasses when it comes to reading, so I have to be very careful with my specs. Are you like me or otherwise.

I still have good eyesight so I really don't think I am either one of those.

i short-sighted. i cant see very far.. i also have trouble looking in 'bright lights'. i actually need my glasses to see far - walking, driving, watching tv, in a meeting (to look at the whiteboard)... but i rarely take it off..
because i use computer a lot at work, and i need my glasses to protect my eyes from 'the glare' / 'bright light' from the computer..

Yes, we have to be very careful of our eyes as we are constantly in front of the computer. By rarely takeing them off, you are better off. You dont tend to lose them as often as I do. Cheerio.

I am just the opposite. I am short sighted. I can read without glasses, but cannot drive car without glasses.

Oh I'm a near sighted so I really need to wear my eyeglasses. I am unable to recognize people's faces when I'm not wearing it. Sometimes I wear my contacts if I don't to wear my glasses. My dad is near-sighted too.
My mom also needs reading glasses just like you, she's far sighted.

It sure is embarassing when you are without your glasses and someone comes upto you and says hello. How do you manage it. Do you stare at that guy or quickly look for your glasses. lol. Cheers and happy mylotting.
