Do you look up some oldies here in mylot?

Hi torchablazed! How are you doing? As you have said , I have met many good friends here who help me fight my dons all the time. some even email me whenever I cannot log in. It's a wonderful place and I am so glad to have met you people here. Thanks dear.

I used to look up for some of them but recently have seen some are no more active here.plus there rae few friends on my list, whom discussions i always answer.

Absolutely. They are some very special ones who have shown me the way, encouraged and been along this wonderful journey here in mylot. Had it not been for them i might have retired from this place a long time ago.

I have a number of very close friends that I have made here. I have met three myLotters in the flesh, will meet another one next week and talk on the phone/Skype with several others. I admire many people here and I always say that in the depths of my depressive illness they were the ones that helped me through and the reason that I am here now.

yes, i have special people i talk to. i like making new friends but it's strange the closeness u feel to some & all u have done is talk to them. i love it!!

although,i have encountered numerous people on mylot,i always looked to some special mylot friends who have encouraged me by giving b.r etc.some of them are no longer active now.

Yes I do look up to see whether they are still around. I still have them in my contact list. Sometimes one of them starts a new discussions and his or her post appears in my email. I am usually surprised because after quite a long time you don't assume that they will ever get back on this site. © ronaldinu 2008

I think there are two definitions of "oldies" or seasoned users here on mylot. There are those that have been members for a very long time; and those that have not been here as long but have been extremely proactive. There are definitely many things to be gained from interacting with both types. I have been a member for almost 2 and a half years now and it is only in the last few months that I have stepped up my activity. I sat on less than 1000 posts for the first two years but still interacted every now and then and also have witnessed many changes over that time. I don't know if there are mylotters that I look up to as such; but there are certainly many members that I deeply respect.

Hi, friend. Just like you, I also look up to some mylotters here, the 'oldies' or the more experienced ones here in the community in particular. I feel that since they've been here first, I could learn a thing or two from them. But it's been quite some time since I've seen them here and I'm missing their discussions, I must say. I have a handful of friends here already and much as I'd like to respond to as many of their discussions on a regular basis, this just isn't possible. I've previously mentioned that I only rely on the company's computer for internet access so I have a limited surfing time. I have to abide by the company's regulation that surfing the net for personal purposes is prohibited during office hours. Because of this, I couldn't log in to myLot during weekends except in a few cases like today.

Yes, there are those notable veterans of myLot that I sort of look up to. They've been in the site since it started and I really appreciate the thought that they did not leave the site even if there are a lot of earning sites that pay better than myLot. I see that they are the most sensible and create a lot of interesting discussions that you'd just wanna lose yourself in participating. Though there are some newbies who post nice discussion but I guess its something different and more personal when started by the 'oldies', more so if they are your myLot friends. I only have a few of them since I am a bit intimidated by sending a request. I know that they'll probably welcome the add but its sort of like a senior junior kinda thing.

Same here my friend. I have met and made a handful of good friends around here. Imagine I did not even expect this will really happen. When I was a newbie, I was reading about people talking of having developed good friendship around and I was wondering how it could be possible. But now I have found it could really happen. I treasure these friends of mine because they are supportive of me and I'm also learning from them. I return the favor to them all the time to keep the relationship strong and healthy. I'm always excited to see new posts from them. I believe it is just a matter of learning to give support and not just expecting support in order to really gain good friends around. Indeed there are respectable friends you could meet and keep here at myLot.

I am sad to say that I don't really have made actual friends on MyLot. I have a lot of MyLot friends, but I don't think I can say I actually know them. But then again, I have taken a break from MyLot for a couple of months. I just try to respond to as much discussions as possible, without actually looking who posted the discussion. Although I must say that I go to the discussions that my friends started sometimes, and if there is something that interests me, I respond. :)

I do look up to a lot of people om Mylot. Infact most people have been very nice and welcoming to me in the last few weeks. Yes I do find the long timers the best and they have helped me a lot. If we have problems they are always the first at hand. I try myself to welcome all the newbies to mylot too. I think it helps them get into the way of things. I do not think anyone might look up to me on here yet, but I hope maybe oneday they might.

Well over time, there are many people who have been members here. Some of these people even ones who have not been here as long as I have as well, I tend to look up at and gladly take the time to want to reply back to all of their Newer discussions I might have missed as well. Unfortunately there is a Big turn over here so some of the people here have left as well and it leaves a Void as well.

I have met new friends here in Mylot. Best thing here besides earning is having new friends that I totally admired. Most of my friends here are older people that really inspired me and help me a lot. I'm just a little sad that one of my friend here are not so active here anymore. I guessed his age hinder him from doing Mylot. I just hope that he's in good condition.

H torchblazed..yes I have had the pleasure of meeting two of mylotters here in the UK and keep in touch with a few more as well some in the UK and one in Australia..it is something we have to thank mylot for as otherwise these new found freinds we probably would never of met...littleowl

Yes, I've met quite a few lovely people on myLot - I enjoy their discussions and respect their opinions, and often have a laugh at their humour and wit. MyLot is a great place to meet new people from all over the world.

Hello there my fellow mylotters! I am so glad I joined the mylot community. And I do look up to some people here, especially those who had already proven their worth in discussions and earnings while having fun. I like the atmosphere and the people here. I do hope I could make more friends here, not just being on the list of friends but true friends personally. Who would respond to my discussions whether he or she will agree or not on my opinion. LOL
