Here's a couple of questions for you myLotter's out there: Do you rate other users positively? Do you rate them negatively? When do you usually do so?^_^ Also, do you rate posts that are on OTHER people's discussions? (As in, replies on discussions started by others, not yourself.) Thanks in advance for any answers, I 'spose.=P

If I rate then I rate positive. I dont think i've given up to 10 minuses during these couple of months Im here. If I give a minus, then it really has to be for some good reason, such as total stupidity. I never would give a minus just because someone disagrees with me, never.

Yep, it's best not to let personal conflicts get in the way of rating fellow members. I've never given any negative ratings, although I'm still new. I probably wouldn't do so unless their posts were extremely ignorant and unneeded as well.

In others' discussions, if I find some posts that I think really stand out and are very constructive, I will definitely rate them positive. In my opinion, good posts do not have to be long. If you feel that people put the time and the effort to respond relevantly to a discussion, rate them positive. ^_^ On the other hand, I've seen some posts that are completely useless and contribute zero to the discussion. I don't mind if they're not relevant, because people can misunderstand your question but make an effort anyway - it's those that obviously put no effort that bother me. I don't rate posts that I consider "neutral". Sometimes the posts contribute, but they don't really stand out, and I don't feel that these types of post go either way. In my discussions, I try to rate all the posts because I'm the creator of the topic. ;-P

If I think (my observation) that the reply is positive...it is always rated positive, and if I do not agree with the reply...I just skip rating it, therefore I have NOT affected anyone's ratings/earnings. And, yes, I do rate other people's discussion...but only positive if I deem that so!
