What is the most enjoyable part of Thanksgiving for you?

Is it the food? Maybe football? A nice long visit with family members? This year we will have a small family gathering. I think it will be nice. As far as I know, only one person will really be into the football games. I will give him the big tv down stairs all to himself. Our team isn't the greatest this year. What makes you look forward to Thanksgiving?

I think having family around for a nice big dinner is one of the best parts about Thanksgiving. I don't get into the whole football thing either. I normally don't even turn the game on.

I was thinking more along the lines of a nap, but a movie could work.

I'm with you. So will it be a board game after the feast, or a movie?

It's the food, definitly. We're not into football, my oldest son is, but that's it in our family. My in laws are coming over this year, ugh! LOL We have a few definites on our Thanksgiving table. Butterball turkey is one, we can't have any other kind of turkey. Last year I made a green bean casserole for the first time and it was a huge hit, so I'll be doing that again. And of course yams, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. I think what I really look forward to the most is the leftover turkey sandwiches. Yum!

The most enjoyable part of Thanksgiving is being able to sit down after standing all day and not having to move..loland also eating yummy food we don't get often and having the family over when they come.

I love being able to sit down with my husband and daughter altogether and eat at the table. My hubby alwasy wants to eat at the couch and watch television.

Time with family. I don't watch football and while food is a very good and big part of it, essentially Thanksgiving should be spend with people whom you appreciate.
