My husband coaches softball and wears a cap while doing so. They gets dirty and he likes me to wash them often. I do my duty on a regular basis. The velcro strip in back is adjustable therefore there's a little gap between where the velcro actually meets. Since the cap is dark in color, I decided to wash it with black undies of mine. Removing everything from the washer I noticed the cap had some kind of different looking attachment where the velcro is placed. Ok now my undies were stuck to the back of his cap and I could not get them off. I had three choices here: cut the undies off the cap, leave them attached for grins or cut the velcro strip. My choice was to tug at the undies and remove them. The cap still has remnants that something was attached so next time he wears the cap am going to tell him thanks for also wearing my black undies while playing ball. Anything silly like this happen to you while washing? It was funny!

LOL. That is funny. My husband used to wear bikini underwear something like mine. He accidentally wore a pair of my underwear to work one day LOL.

First glance I had no idea what was stuck to the back of the cap. Told him about it last night and he thought it was funny. Thanks so much for responding.

I would have left them! LOL That would have been a hoot! I can't think of anything off hand that has happened like that.....I have a velcro incident a long time ago too...but if I remember right it was nylons in the washer that got caught on something....that was back when my daughters were still home!

I should have left them. Although my husband thinks I am funny he may have thought his cap was ruined and that would irritated him...lol He wouldn't care or may not even notice the panties even after he put the cap on. Thanks for responding.

That is funny. Too bad you didn't leave them on there to get his reaction when he saw them hanging on the velcro. I have never had anything like that happen, just finding dryer sheets in odd places is all. With the caps, my husband and son both do their own caps when they need to be washed. They do them by hand and it makes it so much nicer for me.

End of Oct. and Nov. his team played in tournaments. It was hot here in Oct. the weekend they played. So he wanted the cap washed. I didn't pay any attention to the velcro in back. Thanks for responding.

Hi carolbee, That was great, and I bet he'll never live down, nothing funny like happened to me but I give my husband a lot of old clothes to use as cleaning clothes for his bikes and he alwways carry those clothes in his little bags on his bike, so one day he went racing with his mate and then went round to his mates place where they were cleaning their bikes and guse what? these men were cleaning with my knickers!! oh by the way there were all clean before I give it to my husband in the first place. hello carolbee lol too funny about your black undies sticking to your hubby's cap while in the wash. lol when my hubby used to work installing appliances, i as well used to have to wash his caps. lol needless to say thou, my undies never stuck to his cap. lol i always washed his work clothes, cap included, all together. a little helpful hint that might help you out with washing your hubby's cap's like that thou, the next time that you wash his caps, try using a safety pin and pin that piece of velcro so that it doesn't come undone while in the wash. lol then i never put my hubby's cap's in the dryer, just let them air dry and if it is summertime, lay them out in the sun for thirty minutes or so, and they dry real fast like that. lol thanks so much for sharing your funny story about your washing with us all here at Mylot. take care and have a beautiful day today!

I generally don't wash softball caps with our clothes but had no other dark clothes so tossed them in all together. It was funny. Nobody was home to share the laugh with me..lol Thanks for responding.
