yesterday i heard that in the near by hospital there is a chance for people to donate their eyes for ones that doesn't have them. i believe it is a great thing to do. to give vision to someone else able to help someone even after your death. when you die everyone will be unhappy. i don't like that, but at least now one family will be happy the family that got my eye!!

I am very scared to go under knife. I run away when I see any weapon like nife or anything like this! I cannot see blood as my heart is too weak. So, I believe I would run away If the doctors approach me whith medical apparatus to uproot my eyes!

Fear is not a disease it can't be treated, it is just a feeling or emotion it can only be controlled. If you wish you can do a good thing for some then do it. No one is asking for you to give it when you are alive then why are you geting scared about it.

Not only my eyes but I was hoping everything in me that can still be useful to preserve or prolong life for others. This mortal body of ours is absolutely nothing when we die.....it will only returned to dust (for we are made from dust). At least I did something very significant when I leave this world...something I know would be preciuosly treasured by the recepient/s.

Yes, definitely, except my vision isn't that great - so I do want it corrected first. Uh, but if I were to die and any part of me can still function and be of use to another person, I would give, no doubt. There's so many other people who may be desperate or would appreciate it. Anyways, I'd rather have my body parts go to someone with a chance to live rather than have then cremated or such.

i have discussed being an organ donor several times with my parents and my mom would get all upset... but i think it is important to discuss such issues so that there wont be a conflict between your wishes and your family's... i intend on having a serious talk with my husband about that and end of life care as well. We have been married two years and only recently started delving into serious topics regarding are married life... far too many times i hear stories about people arguing about what a loved one that passed away would have wanted when it all could have been avoided if people just talked these things out!

I have signed the organ donation register to have all my organs that may be of some use to someone else, sometimes I wish i could donate some things before i die, to help some people who could be helped, like a kidney or something...

I am a registered donor so I hope that when I die they use what they can to help someone else. If it is an eye then I hope that they can give it to someone that really needs it.
