My little neice is just 3 months old. But she h as a lot of hair on her forhead and body. We take a little dough and rub it on her forhead, but it does not seem to be working. Any ideas how baby hair can be removed. She is a girl, and hence we have to be more careful.

This is an old and tested method of removing unwanted hair on little babies here in India. the gram flour dough is made a little hard and rubbed on the affected parts. Iy gently pull out the excess hair without hurting the baby. Lots of babies have benefited by it.

lol lol lol lol what? rub dough on her forhead? lol is that some kind of ancient ritual? I'm sure the hair is just baby hair. It will be fine. Just let her be. My nephew was really hairy when he was small, and it went away.

The oldies say it is a time tested manner and will not harm the baby. The dough pulls at her hair gently without hurting her and it clears the forehead slowly. She is such a beautiful girl, just hope the hair disappears.

I don't think the dough is going to do anything. Really I think you should just let her be. I'm sure the hair will go away.

I have no idea. It may be just baby hair and may go away after a while. I would give it some time and see.

She is now 3 months old and no sign of the hair disappearing. She is such a beautiful child. Hope it just disappears on its own.

Hi kety! I remember my hubby's niece was hairy when she was born. One maid used to come everyday for the massage and would rub gramflour dough on her whole body. All her extra hair totally disappeared, now she is grown up into a pretty woman.

I think you should leave the hair alone...Who knows what will happen if you play around with it whilst she is a baby...Lots of hair is not a bad thing...She's healthy and thats the main thing,aye?...Good luck!

The dough is made a little hard and then rubbed on her forehead. This gently pulls the unwanted hair on her forehead. We also run a towel gently on her forehead to remove the hair. The oldies say, its the best way and no harm done. She doesnt even feel the pull.

I would just leave it alone. It should fall out as she grows. I wouldn't try and remove hair from a small baby.

The oldies say, its a time tested manner and has always worked and no harm to the baby. She does not even feel the pull when the dough is rubbed.
