I can relate to this ronaldinu as it happens to me very now and then too. Especially in my last job because people were so demanding and everything was always so one-sided when it came to tasks that needed to be done. You know the scenario yes? You bust your backside to ger everything asked of you done professionally and quickly and ALWAYS beat deadlines; yet when you ask for something in return you spend half your time chasing the very same people that pushed you in the first place! Man I used to get frustrated with that and by the end of most weeks I was so on edge it wasn't funny. A butterfly could sneeze in Venezuala and I would have gone off my head!
All we can do is hang in there until the free moments appear and disassociate ourselves as much as we possibly can from work and other stress. If we don't release ourselves like this it becoming all consuming and very hard to crawl out of the negative mindset.

Not lately. Most of that went away when I decided to work from home.
I used to keep a bottle of skullcap capsules in my drawer at work. I took 2 or 3 every morning, and I might even have to take a couple more later in the day. It really did help keep things on an even keel.
Did you wake up edgy? I always hated that, waking up that way, and not really knowing why.

It's normal to feel edgy at times ^_^ ANd that happends when one is always patience to things and ple, always keeping to themselves fro the sake of the whole situation ^_^ I did experience that b4, and when i'm edgy, i know i need to cool down or relax.. Thus, i will go for a long walk, and even better, change into my sports attire, and go for my long lung bursting runs.. lol =D After which, i will always feel better and much more comfortable ^_^

I'm pretty calm at the moment. When I was younger I was always edgy - and especially when I was working, as a couple of my jobs were pretty stressful and involved keying payments through within a certain time limit. If I didn't make the deadline, people wouldn't get paid, so that used to get my adrenalin flowing! These days I just go with the flow and have a quiet, happy life. Way to go!

Well it is good that it is the weekend then since it sounds as though you really need it bad. I would tell your boos maybe to make it less stressful on you to make sure others got trained in first aid. That would ease one thing atleast in your job. I haven't be edgy as much as anxious.

Eh. It happens.
Try producing a live talk radio show everyday.
Sometimes I just want to shout and tell everyone to get the ____ out of the studio.
I do a great job, but sometimes I am more efficient when I work alone.
There's a lot of pressure to the career, but that's what I like about it at the same time.
I usually get something to drink and go outside and get some fresh air.
I guess there is just so much to do, usually in a little bit of time, and it can get overwhelming.
Just take it easy, take a break if you need to, and if the job is bugging you daily to the point where it is too irritable, maybe consider switching jobs, or perhaps a different career path.

When I am edgy like that, I will warn people that I am not in the mood and sometimes will just, if I can, find a way to get away and do something that calms me.

Hi ronaldinu,
Why are you overworking yourself to get so edgy? have you heard the word NO and HELP? don't take everything on board yourself and get like that, ask for help from your workmates and you can say no, I cannot do anymore than what you got. Overworked leads to stess and high blood pressure. Slow down

Hey ronaldinu! That sure doesn't sound like you. You are
usually pretty calm. What's got you so upset? I mean you sure
are entitled to have your days, since we all do! But, you are
usually very calm and cool headed so something is up! I hope
that you will work through it and feel better. Try to take
some time out and get your thoughts together. Take care!

I get like that a lot. I try to stay calm and in control. It is hard to do sometime. I snapped at work last week. I made it through this week without a problem. I do have one more night to go. But my co-worker didn't she snapped last night. I looked at her and said now you see what I mean. And you thought I was crazy.

When you feel that way it's your body telling to step back and take stock. Maybe you need to detox from life's stress. I know this is much easier said then done. But even if you just take 5 minuets to count your breath it will help. Also try to visualize a pleasant, restful place. Blessings
