Skype is a free software on internet,that allows qyality text,voice and video chat .
I have used it for voice and text chat , I think that its marvellous .
Have You Ever Used Skype ? How Do You Find It ?What do you like about skype ?
Or DO you use some other software ,what is its name ?

Yes, I have Skype and I love it. Definitely the best quality free pc to pc calls. ^_^ It's also very useful that it has a chat system. If my friends don't pick up or something I can send them a message asking if they're there or not or something.
Unfortunately, Skype is banned here so I had to go around the little obstacles my internet provider set up to get the program. xD Even so, I have it and love it.

It's banned here because Etisalat (our internet and phone network provider) prefers it that way. If we don't have free PC to PC phone calls, they get more money out of us PAYING for that service. Got to love companies with a monopoly on services such as internet and phone networking! =D

lol, i use skype
and the most benefit of skype isn't the free chet and international friendships,but it's telecommunication fee.
it's really so cheap!!
for one country unlimitting calls per month only cost 9.98$!
badly cheap right?

they really save lots money

Only ever used it the once, it is free for first use, then you have to buy credit. Ok its a lot less expensive than usual calls but the quality is very poor. It sounds as if you are talking in a big tank, no its not for me until the quality improves

yes i use skype in my work to chat with officemates. in fact this is the software we use in the office to chat with one another and with different departments. i think skype is a very useful program and even better it is free.

I am using skype or at last I am sometimes. Its a nice way to stay in contact with your friends as long as you and your friends are on skype.
But I have started to use it rarely now. Getting messages all the time can start to get on your nerves at some point when all you are trying to do is do your homework or watch TV or just visit a few websites without any message popping up in the corner of the screen.

its voice clarity is god, apart from it i didnt found it that effective, it doesnt have as much features as msn or yahoo. my fav messenger remains yahoo ;)

Yes if you need to make phone calls to phone than you need money else on PC to PC calls it is free lol ,in that case no need to spend on international calls.

Yes Skype is a Great Program. I am separated from family by 2000 miles and often call them on Skype
The video is wonderful! Last week we called our son on the west coast. We had a video conference while the daughter-in-law was feeding our grandson. It was almost as good as being right there. We could see him licking off the spoon, and looking for more as he sat in his hi-chair. All that is necessary is a webcam. The Skype program supports both pictures and sound.

I use skype everyday as it is valuable speaking with my clients and friends from other countries. It's easy and its free to speak with anyone with a skype ID on a PC or laptop. It's good for PC to PC calls which is the best part because it's free. You can also call any reqular phone for a lower price compared to long distance rates. Of course some rates vary wherever your location may be. cheers!

I used Skype when it was free for a year. I made long distance calls from my computer for free. I bought it for a year too. I found the quality variable but mostly acceptable. I have not used it for a year so maybe they have improved the quality somewhat. I see they have lots of new features. I found you could make local calls and long distance calls but for some reason could not make toll free 800 calls.

I've used skype for years! The voice quality is great, although the chat system is a little harder with the screen reader, but it is usable.
Oh, and did I mention the skype in and skype out features?

I agree, i think Skype is the best software for voice chatting because the quality is excellent.
I've been using it for quite a while.I talk to my friends abroad.But never i had the chance to talk to my local friends! it's not quite popular over here.But i think soon people will realize the great benefits of it.
