I'm a fan of a site called Popular Screensavers. I tried to post the URL here, but MyLot in its "wisdom" won't allow anything any "normal" punctuation--yet I've SEEN URLs posted before! Anyway, what I found there astonished me. I was in the category "animals," subcategory "butterflies," when I found a picture that stopped me in my tracks. Science tells us that insects & animals evolve appearances which help them in some way to mate & survive. Some are extremely colorful the better to attract mates, others mimic enemies or poisonous things, so they'll survive. Some do both. But there is this ONE BUTTERFLY that defies that idea. It's a lovely shape, but its COLOR is what marks it as unique, in my experience. It has a DELIBERATE PATTERN. A rainbow spectrum! Now, exactly HOW does having such a pattern help it in any fashion? LOTS of creatures have wild colors, many have wild--though non-representational of any =illusory= phenomenon--patterns, but how does a RAINBOW PATTERN help? It's as if it's saying, "I'm NOT here by random selection." In fact, it's as though it bears a clear message, "Hello, my children. I give you a sign: I am here." Signed GOD. I realize that atheists will try to naysay this, but those who read this with an open heart & mind will see that this tiny creature is a gentle, sweet sign of God's love. If you want to look it up, though, you might want to set aside a couple of hours of viewing time: it's a humongous site! LOL! Enjoy. Maggiepie
