I was part of the Zeta team who tested out zOMG and I had one of those starter tickets too. . .It lagged during the testing stages but it actually worked for me. Now after the release of the game to everyone, it seems that it loads, and when it lags, it won't let my avatar move and it takes up too much of my memory, making my whole PC lag when I have this game open. How many have you experienced this? There was a post by the developers that the memory leak from the servers were going to be fixed eventually as it was supposedly the cause of the lag.

I thought that being a zETA member was very fun. It did lag a lot, but I think that it was really important to work through to hammer out the issues before the big release. I cannot believe that zOMG is out already! The only thing that I hated about zETA-testing was the problem of having to do a lot of things twice/three times (twice in the zETA account because at one point everything was reset). I like zOMG, though. And for those who do not, the game can only improve from where it's at.

I do play zOMG and I love playing that. There are times when it does lag for me and i figure that is because there are a lot of people playing the game at the same time I am. I began playing it with my boyfriend but now I just play it randomly when I am relaxing at home with nothing else to do. I have made a few friends on zOMG and Gaia at the same time. I really enjoy the game and wish I could play it more often, but I try to limit my time on the interwebs.

I haven't played it yet because I don't have the time, but I plan on playing it sometime soon.

I was one of the second wave of beta testers and it did lag a bit and obviously there were a lot of bugs but it seems okay now and my pc doesn't lag at all but then I've not had much time to play, in fact I'd better go feed my fish before they die again.

I see. Well that's good to hear, I hope when I try playing it again it won't lag on me. Thanks for the response! By the way do you know what the minimum RAM requirements for this game is? I know the requirement has to more than towns because of all its special effects and stuff. . .I have an old computer that runs on Windows XP, SP2, but only has 128 MB of RAM.

There was that info on the beta zomg board but I can't remember. Sorry it's not something I take much notice of until I have a problem with my puter. Hope it's running better for you now.
