I will have about ten bucks to buy presents with this year. I have already decided to wait till after christmas to have christmas because of all the half price deals. I have to buy presents for my 3 grown up sons, and my friend (lady friend) and my dad. Can you give me some suggestion on what I can give to them for Christmas?? I want to give them something more than a hug lol. I would love to hear your creative ways to help me. Thanks

When I was about 18-19, I had gotten really sick with the flu then pneumonia at the end of October and was out of work for most of November, so I had very little money for gifts. I made homemade gift certificates for my family and friends, things like babysitting, car washes, house cleaning, home cooked sinner and dessert, lawn mowing, and even facials for my mom. Everyone loved them and used them during the next year, I still do some for my parents, especially the lawn mowing and house cleaning as they are both having more and more trouble keeping up with the heavier work as they get older.

Maybe something like a box of his favorite cookies, and when you mail it to him maybe go to a dollar store and pick up a couple of trial size things like chapstick or hand cream (put them in a plastic bag so they can't leak). Hope things get better for you and have a merry Christmas!

Hi Princess, are you good at making things? Personally I love homemade presents and cards especially I have young female friend who ALWAYS sends me a homemade birthday and Christmas card and to me I value it and appreciate it more than a shopbought one, so much so that I have kept all of her cards because they mean something to me. I would much rather someone took the time and thought to make me something than buy me something, so, that being said if there is something you could make with your own fair hands then that would I think be more appreciated than spending money that you can't afford and for presents that might not be fully used? Hugs xxx

I am very sorry to hear that. If it was me, I would go to the Dollar Tree, where everything is one dollar. You could also buy some cookie doug or brownie mix or something like that and give that as a present also.
