I've never heard of that type of phone before. Is that the phone in your avatar? If it is, it looks like a good phone.

I have T-Mobile as well... I have blackberry pearl 8120... I like it so far.. I had their service few years back & I went to Nextel because of my work... Now I'm back with them... If you're gonna get a phone with them, look into ones with "wifi" calling capability... Extra $10 a month allows you to make & receive unlimited calls when your phone is linked to open wireless router, including all the t-mobile hotspots... Friend of mine has cheapest myfav plan wich is $39.99 & it gives him 300 peak minutes... Last month he used close to 1700 minutes, not counting nights & weekends, & his bill never went above what he normally pays... Some of their blackberries, mine included, & few other phones have that features built into it but like I said, you have to sign up for that $10/month option for you to use it "unlimited"...

Thanks for all the info. Yesterday, I got my new phone. I got the Pearl 8100 for free. I got a fcamily plan, I paid for the unlimited family texts (the other phone is not a Blackberry), and unlimited email for the bb. I was going to get the date plan, but I have a laptop and other ways to access the internet. Thanks for the info. I'll call t-mobile and see if I can add that to my plan. :)

I don't believe pearl 8100 has the wifi feature... 8120 does but not the 8100's... Depending on what the other phone is, you might be able to add that little option for that phone... The phone itself has to be able to link to wireless router... I don't believe older version pearl "8100" can do that... Sometimes it pays to get a little more expensive phone because in a long run, you get more use out of it... If you have internet access at home, you could've put a wireless router in the house & now your cell phone can make unlimited calls once you're linked to your router... You could've gotten rid of your house phone that way... Basically, it's same as getting a house phone with unlimited calling for only $10/month... I also have unlimited email plan on my blackberry but I have it as a part of $19.99 option... I do have laptop but sometimes I do need to access websites with large files and my phone doesn't quite get there fast enough... It's great when I'm doing simple stuff & getting light things off of the internet when I'm on the road... But some of the things I need to get to, I needed a laptop... Everyone has different needs so if you don't need it, no need wasting money on it either...

I've seen the storm and I don't really care for it. IMO, it's not very nice looking. However, I'm sure it does a lot and it's an awesome phone, though.

I still have the Sony Ericsson T610. Old model but it works. I'm satisfied with it. I'd like to purchase the iPhone one day but way too expensive!

I thought price was the only draw back. My friend's fiance wanted one back in like July, they were still sold out in a lot of stores. The line at the apple store was so long.
