I have a doctor appointment tomorrow morning. As a result of being sick lately with a sinus infection and being on additional medications, I have several questions to ask him. I made a list and am taking it with me. This will be a first since I have not done this in the past with appointments. Have you taken a list with you to the doctor for an appointment? Was it helpful?

I do this very frequently. My old primary doctor told me she liked me to make the list. She got so used to it that she would ask for it as soon as she walked in the room.

I always think I'll remember something and then forget. I did make a list and it helped considerably. Good to hear the list helps you also. Thanks for responding.

I belive this is the first time thing for me and the list did help. Had so many questions and knew I would forget half of them. Thanks for responding.

Yes, I have taken a list. One of my previous doctors would tell me "let's talk about the thre things bothering you the mos." Irritated the heck out of me and now we have a new doctor since we moved. She's okay, but you really have to get your questions in since she handles what you're in for and gets ready to leave. I had a doctor I just loved before this move and I don't know if I'll ever find one like her out here. Las Vegas doesn't have a reputation for fantastic medical care. Good luck on your list! I think it's really important to talk about symptoms and concerns!

I did have a long talk with my dr. and we went over the list. He explained a few things and what I need to do like quit eating chocolate. That's a bummer cause I love it. Guess the news could have been worse. Thanks for responding.

Yes, I always take a list!!! It is very important to me. i have lists all over. if i didn't I would have a confusing life..lol But when I go to the dr. I make sure I do bc when I get infront of the dr sometimes from what they are saying then you forget the questions you had. And it makes it better for you and for the dr, so your not wasting your time and his time. or have to call back.

Yes, I have taken a list of questions with me before to the doctor. If I think of something I would write it down so I wouldn't forget. It is very helpful for me as I don't like doctor's at all and hate to go and tend to forget once in there, just want to get in there and out so that is the main reason for a list. I would also write down answers that I got so as not to forget.

I always think I will remember to ask a question and then have a brain freeze once in the room with the dr. Good idea to write answers down also. Thanks for responding.
