I know what you feel. I live in the Philippines and we definitely have no snow in here. I remember one of my friends who went to New York on her vacation. She told me that when she woke up in the morning and saw all the snow that had fallen the night before, she actually ran outside in her pJs and started laughing while prancing around in the snow. This of course lasted for a couple of seconds because after the initial awe, she felt her digits might fall off because of the cold. She then had to stay indoors for a couple of days because she caught the worst cold she has had in her life. I think it was worth it... lol

I live in the snow belt in Pennsylvania and we have about 2 feet of snow already and this is just from the last few days. *sigh* It is pretty but I really dont like the cold at all! If I could share with you I would! LOL! If you stood outside in it, you see it at times twirling and falling down. If you stick your tongue out and tilt your head back you can feel them hit and melt. You get cold rather fast thou. Coats, gloves and a hat are a must if you are going to be in it for any extended time. The best is making snowmen, making snow angels and sledding, or at least watching the kids and other adults doing them. When you make a snow angel it is a different kind of feeling, feeling the snow land on you and looking up and seeing it come down at you. I guess it isnt that bad and could be worse now that Im thinking about it. The very best is having hot cocoa when you come inside! YUM!!!

Same here, no snow in my country. We only have two season here, rainy and summer. Unlike other countries that have different season. I'd like to have a snowed Christmas experience someday though that means I have to travel abroad to just have it. My cousins whose in Canada says that snow is soft. I don't have personal experience with snow so I can't tell you more about it. Have a nice day.

Trust me you are better off without the snow. A countryman of yours who owns a store down the road said about the snow it looked so beautiful in pictures and always wanted to see it but did not realize it is so cold. It is ok if you are a kid because you can go out and play in it, but they do not have to go out and shovel it off the walkways and driveways. They have plows that go down the street and fill the end of your driveway up with heavy snow. A lot of people have gas powered snow blowers now to save a lot of work. It is ok if you are young or active in sports. You can go snowmobiling or skiing downhill or cross country, so for some people they look forward to snow so they can do those things. However because it is so cold and you get ice and snow on the roads and it difficult to drive sometimes. Also there are snow storms that can last for days. You don't want to experience one of those. The wind blows and it snows which gets blown around and it is so cold. Because it is so cold it costs a lot to heat your house. You have to have warm winter boots and a warm winter coat and hat, we sometimes wear what is called a toque which is a warm woolen cap when you have to go outside. I have three pictures in my profile of the first big snowfall around here a couple of days ago.

I love to look at the snow and maybe play with it. But I dont like it because it would be very very cold and it is very difficult to move. I hate wearing very thick coat and all those heavy shoes one needs to put on. The first time I saw snow, I had to go out and took pictures. it only snowed once alst year in my place but I guess I did enjoy it.

I love the snow I think it's beautiful n I love watching it fall down from the sky. I hate the cold waether tho but it's something you just have to deal with...Driving conditions our horrible in the winter but If u know how 2 drive and do it carefully then you'll be fine. I just got a new vehicle this year and its wonderful....I wish I lived somewhere there wasnt any snow tho. I love summer all year round!

I do not like the snow myself. I am lucky that this year so far it has not been too bad. But come January it will get worse. We usually get about 2 feet of snow. It is very very cold and very very wet. On a good day it is actually very very pretty when it falls. It can come down in big white flakes or tiny little flakes. I prefer the big white flakes myself. Our weather gets very cold though and I can not stand that. You have to make sure you wear gloves, hats and scarf's here or you could freeze. It is nice to be around snow in the early months of october to december but by january I am ready for summer again. I hope this helps a bit.

I moved to the desert (Arizona) to never have to see snow again. I hate being cold. I do miss the view though, and trees! Its pretty to look at but so miserable. At least here it's just a 2 hour drive to the grand canyon so if i ever really miss it its not far away.
