well,i have it this day and yesterday. it was raining so hard. and i am whole body wet. i don't have any umbrella. and i only borrowed one. i have this odd feeling to bring one. maybe because guys are not used to bringing umbrella. especially when it does not rain. i don't know about the others, but nowadays, guys are bringing one even when there is no rain! some said that they used it for protection against the intensity of the heat of the sun. well, it is good. but how about you?.. is it okey if a guy is to bring an umbrella?...

Those guys that bring umbrellas with them wherever they go when it's not even raining, just so they dont get sunburned are fagots. This weekend I went downtown and there was guy that had an umbrella and me and my friends were like so do you wanna go out, and he said allright. So he is a fagot. I never bring an umbrella. Not even when it rains I just put my hood up. I wear a hoodie like almost all the time.

Yes, of course. There's nothing feminine or masculine on it. It's a protection and the only disadvantage on it is that you have to carry it which sometimes some people feels as a hassle sometimes, and even me. But if you think the weather is bad enough, make sure you bring one. Just imagine yourself as a poor wet duckling under the rain if it caught you in bad timing and no one's near you to cover your head and body. Then you'll get sick and won't be able to work for a few days. That's really not worth it, right?

Yes I think its okay for a guy to bring an umbrella. Umbrellas don't make a guy less of a man if that's what you are implying. .or trying to say. Everyone should be prepared during a particularly hot day out or rain. UV rays are very dangerous, and sometimes people do not want to put sunblock lotion on, or sunglasses on for whatever reason, so umbrellas are a great alternative.

you are right!.. and i think guys in this country had noticed it that the heat from the sun is not good anymore.. that is why, bringing an umbrella seems to be normal nowadays, when before only females and gays are bringing those....

Yes, it is okay for a guy to bring an umbrella, it is not a mortal sin for a guy to bring an umbrella because it is a must especially during rainy days, most of my guy friends bring umbrella when there's a heavy downpour for some protection. Umbrella is very common even among male royals in Europe. I always saw the British Princes bring umbrella with them. Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry always carry umbrella when attending formal functions especially when there is rain, in fact, the official christmas photo card distributed by the future king of England Prince Charles and his wife the Duchess of Cornwall was the one taken which showed Prince Charles carrying a white umbrella. So it is okay for a guy to bring an umbrella, it is not the measurement of one's identity or something, it is a very useful accessory during wet season.

For me, there is nothing masculine or feminine about bringing an umbrella. It's just a device, a common sense protection against the element. I don't use one, however, as I am liable to forget it. But a friend of mine never fails to bring one. He exercises every day, 3 kilometers of walk. Bringing an umbrella to and from his office ensures that he has at least partially covered part of the distance, rain or shine.
