Is it nepostism to specially seek out your friends discussions and respond to them.I was reading a discussion from one of the experienced writers on mylot and he was saying thats one way get more responses.I noticed that from time to time persons were sending me requests and I thought it was genuine lol.The truth be told I dont specifically seek out my friends discussion ,I was just starting to wonder if others do it.

I don't think there is really anything wrong with it. If there were, I don't believe myLot would have strings your friends have been responding to and discussions they have started as defaults on our Home pages. Ultimately, myLot should be about networking and making friends as opposed to making money, so it is OK to converse with them. We also have the ability to see postings to our interests scrolling by - it is just one way for us to find people we can connect with. There is nothing wrong with it at all. Whichever way you feel most comfortable networking - go for it! :)

Maybe it is, but I don't think it's wrong. I think I'd eventually be kind of miffed if none of my friends EVER responded to anything I posted on here. Unfortunately, I only have one friend right now :-( Will you be my friend? lol

It is much easier then responding to the original poster who posts a comment and is waiting for your post. I do not know what one pays more but no matter what, it does keep the conversation going. I usually alternate between the friends started and unresolved, and when I cannot find anything then I will go to the today's top, but I do not think it is wrong to respond. I mean the mylot police are not going to banish you.

For me it's not really wrong. Well if the certain discussions is interested then im going to reply but if not, i don't bothered. Well about the friends request there's also nothing wrong with it. It just nice that you have friends with same interest so that you have something to share. Hapy posting.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I just respond to interesting discussions. Sometimes my friends are the ones who posted them. Sometimes not. As long as a good conversation gets going, that's all that matters. :)

I think it's not wrong to respond to people's discussion who responded to your post. If the discussion ignited my interes then I will post my response, with no other things in mind that I will obliged to do it because he or she responded to my post. This is a happy community wherein we post our responses disregarding with whom we reply.
