Are you any good at Guitar Hero?

There is this game I love playing! I've been playing it since 2005. It's called Guitar Hero. Just incase you haven't heard of this game before I'll tell you a little about it. It is a game that simulates the playing of an electric guitar with a plastic guitar shaped controller. While playing on the screen you will notice spheres that go toward you on what appears to be a highway. The spheres are from left to right, green, red, yellow, blue, and orange and these are called notes. On the guitar controller you will notice five corresponding buttons on the neck. You will see a green button, red button, yellow button, blue button, and an orange button on the neck of the guitar controller. These buttons on the neck of the guitar controller correspond to the notes you will see on the screen. When you see a red note coming hold the red button on the neck of the guitar and then you'll see the note get to a line. When the note gets to the line keep holding the button on the neck and strum with the strumbar when the note gets to the line. The strumbar is in the middle of the body of the guitar controller and you can press up or down on it. Okay now that I've explained what guitar hero is and gave a basic explination I want to ask a question for the experienced player. Can you play on expert? I played this game since it first came out back in 2005 and I've just been able to play expert since summer of 2007. So my question is is it that way for everybody? Does it take that much time and work for everybody to play on expert? Sure I know there are those people who can play a game just a few times and be able to beat the hardest difficulties. Those super good people aside how long should it take for a normal person to be able to beat the hardest songs on the hardest difficulties. Am I just slow at learning how to play on expert? I mean seriously it took me about 2 years! But now I'm pretty good though. I can five star every song on expert. But just how good am I compared to the other people who play? am I just average worldwide being able to 5 star all of the songs? Or would I have to 100% half of the songs to be better than average?

No! I am horrible at it. No musical technique or expertise what so ever. I do love to watch Elen Degenerous when she has it on her show. She has given away several to people as well. Thanks for the input on its use too!

I have never personally played myself - but my husband is pretty good - and my kids can all play on expert - my 7 year old was the first in the house to be able to play on the expert.

I played Guitar hero with my husband's nephews. They are very addicted to it and they kept telling to try playing it. So, as a started I played the Easy. I had fun playing with it! Since my husband and I transferred to a new place, we barely visit to their house and never played guitar hero anymore.
