Do you go on ghost tours?

I went on a ghost tour in Skagway, Alaska and we actually had a ghost experience. It was rather cool, not scary. I live in Pa and we are going camping this summer and are planning on hitting haunted places, like Gettysburg, Pa. I wonder if any of you have any great ghost tours that you have been on that you would recommend. I watch every show, read every book, that I can find about ghosts. I just love it.

I live near many haunted places, too, so I will have to get myself out there and visit them!

I went to Gettysburg a few years ago and there are plenty of ghost tours in Gettysburg to choose from. I can't remember the one that we took but I think it was at one of the houses there in Gettysburg, one of the historic places that's known to be haunted. It lasted about an hour and we walked to a lot of interesting places right in town.

Yes, I checked into those tours and have been getting feedback on which one is the best one to take. You do not always see them but just the tour and learning of it's history.

I am a coward and there's absolutely no way that I'd go on a ghost hunting trip or whatever. However, I've never seen a ghost my entire life. But would want to see one? I don't think so. I've been doing well without having seen a ghost my entire life :) I wouldn't mind not seeing one at all. Thanks for the response on my discussion!

It's not bad, because they are truly harmless. Anyone who says ghosts can harm you do not know much about them.

I think this time in your tour you will see the real ghosts. You still have imagination like the kids. This is good. You will never become old.I saw a film titled 'Ghost Rider'.Have you seen this film? It's very thrilling. If not, you can see this. I have no experience of Ghost Tour.

I would love that, I have often thought about going on an old gaol tour at night, I think it would be scary but I have heard there is a ghost in the Old Melbourne gaol, I think it would be exciting in a weird sort of way.

I would LOVE to live in a haunted house. I am not frightened by spirits, per say, but they do give me the chills.

You come to a ghosh town!?! brrr nanajanet You are so brave, i know they are existing here and there i can feel them, but i always ask them to not sock me, every time i came to a new place i always ask permission... I know they are sometimes i see, but i always said to them please be nice to me, i'm alone at Bali island. And don't want to distrub their world. I love watching tv about ghost and show about challenge to stay in a hounted place until morning. Want to know about (in getting chilly here) brrr... type "dunia lain" at youtube and you will see all the show. Happy posting always, oxoxox'dian from bali island.

I do not fear them because they are harmless, they only harm us when we do stupid things out of fear. They are just lost souls stuck here and in time will move to the other side, when others from there will come and get them. I think it is just wonderful, a way to prove that there is more to life than what we see. I do get "spooked" by them but not frightened. It has always fascinated me, since childhood.

I love ghost tours. My partner and I have gone on the West Virginia Penatentiary one twice and we hope to go again soon. It was amazing and we had such a great time there. She's also been to Gettysburg, Pa. I haven't but I wanted to. I would have a blast there. I would suggest checking out WV Pen. I think you would love it.

Oh, Gettysburg is great, even without the ghosts. You should go. I will put that one on my list, thanks!! There is also the Eastern State Penn, in Philly. I have not gone there yet. We have many haunted places right where I live, too. My son used to work in one.

We have a haunted tour that is held around town. I've heard the lady on the radio, but I've never gone on one. It sounds cool, but I don't need to look for weird things to happen to me. Weird things happen without looking for them!

cool. i've never been on an actual ghost tour but have been to a swamp one time a few years ago that they said was haunted on a certain night. we went, but got the van stuck in the actual swamp. i freaked because its ok if you can leave when you want but we were stuck and i no way wanted to spend the night so, we called a tow truck and got pulled out before the ghost showed up.

Ghosts do not scare me but being stuck in the swamp would have freaked me out because the alive crazy people who may show up scare me.

I've never been on a ghost tour, but I sure would love to. Have wanted to for a long time. If I do go, I was looking at the Ireland, Germany, Scotland, and I think one more country, but not sure. It was well over a couple of years I looked. These would be the haunted castles tour. Every night you would spend it in a Haunted Castle. I really don't remember the rest but it sure sounded good and made an impression. You go girl, and have some fun. I like knowing and reading and watching anything about true hauntings myself.

i believe that's many ghost place in your place.... and i believe every house has a ghost, but it's just they want to show to us or not... or wanna try to bother us or not... i has stayed in one house (my cousin house), when i studied in malaysia... the house has been empty for 2 years... so i likely to stay there, because i can safe my money.... and i got many fenomena in the first day.. like a door open etc... which i closed properly.. but i know all the information about that.. so i just stay cool.. but it's gone in the second day... and i remember the door start to open again in one day... and i check.. it's nothing inside there... but the door just open again and again after i close it... so i check inside there.. and i find a dirty thing (well i forgot what is it) inside there... so i know the reason.... that's all i can describe... but this all true from my experience

There are many haunted places in my area, but not all are open for the public to tour. The Inn where my son used to work in high school is haunted and he told us of stories when he worked there.

Gee, scary! What if you happened to meet a really harmful ghost? What if they hurt you? Oh no, touch wood..! We do have haunted place here in my country. They've been posted on youtube and all. Some of it looked real and some just plain video trick. I live in Malaysia by the way. Right here we have the female vampire which would fly from tree to tree, haha.. ghost with floating head along with the intestines.. definitely not cool, but scary!

Hehe, well, ghosts do not harm people, as a rule, so I am not afraid. I love stuff like that and have already had one ghost encounter. Weird, yes? Scary, no.

One question. You said you had one encounter. So, what did the ghost do? Did it communicate with you or anything? Just curious.
